It has been reported all week that Gus would name one this weekend. He wants to prep for Oregon.

Some more nuggets from Marcello regarding today's practice
Seth Williams is full speed and made some amazing catches in practice
Sal had his best practice of fall camp made some big cathes
From one insider "the kickers were horrible. Carlson missed a couple 40 yarders.
Nix had some amazing throws both qbs had good days
Lots of donors at practice and sentiment seems to be Nix is the guy
Rumors about Tega and Jeremiah Dinson being injured are not true
Nix had 3 throws in practice that were "unbelievable". Gatewood did not lead his team to a score but had one pass blown dead early that would of been a score.
Hastings and Stove will start practice next week

What a great problem to have. A freakish athlete and a pure QB with an incredible pedigree.

This is at least the second time this has been Gatewood’s bottom line. Could be why Nix has the edge. Gotta put points up.

Garner has been on Truesdale’s arse since day one - RG must really see potential in him. He was a 2 star but surprised and played last year

Obviously the best guy should play and if it’s Nix, so be it. However, historically, freshman QBs haven’t faired well in the SEC.

Auburn’s defense, from players to staff, should be envied by most of America. That defensive staff is full of excellent coaches AND recruiters, and the talent Auburn boasts at almost every level should have the rest of the country hoping the Auburn offense won’t be able to score 30 + a game.

Totally agree. With our defense, OL, and special teams we just need average play from the QB position to be a good team.

Dumbass jake Fromm did okay for UGA in recent memory.
He doesn’t need to Trevor Lawrence levels just make the throws he needs to and not hold onto the ball like stidham did the offense will be okay
