I’ve never counted on Newkirk to play, let alone play well, given his history. Same with Sammons and Troxell. They’re not to be counted on 
Sounds like Miller, Handy, and Keiondre Jones are on track to be back soon. I imagine we’re being more careful right now with injuries along the lines due to depth concerns.
Stove/Schwartz/Williams are my concerns currently.
Stove and Hastings both are noticing pain in their repaired knees. That’s common to a degree but we’e getting to the point where they need to be ready to go. Both seem like they’d play against Oregon if the game was this weekend.
Schwartz’s hand concerns me. Receivers use their hands a lot - from fighting off defenders, blocking, catching, and falling to the ground.
Not knowing the degree of Seth’s back injury is interesting too. I’ve tweaked my back here and there in recent years. Usually 2-3 weeks before I’m feeling normal again. Unclear to me how long that’s been an issue for him

Scrimmage notes
- Quarterback Bo Nix is the first quarterback to lead the first-team offense today. That has been a common occurrence over the last week.
-Auburn is starting the scrimmage with 2-minute drills.
-Nix looks sharp throwing the football early.
-Nix is off to a good start throwing the football. He hooked up with Boobee Whitlow on a long gainer on a pass play. Gatewood hasn’t been as accurate early in the scrimmage.
