My FIL was in UAB in 2024 and I wasnt all that impressed with the standard of care on the floors. The doctors were extremely young and the care was no different than regional. I will not be enduring constant trips to Birmingham if my wife and girls are not experiencing life threatening predicaments.

For as much as I dislike a lot about Bham, UAB is a world class medical facility.

That is a lie. They have the better technology for the state but the brains are no smarter than your Indian doctor at the regional hospital that has a Barack Obama voice. My FIL ended up going to Houston because Birmingham was worthless. Stop lying chump.
Separately, cant discuss it yet until terms are reached but my BIL will soon be a very rich man thanks to Childrens incompetence.

Anecdotal sure. But vague. Hardly.
I am not without frame of reference. 3 family members are Nurse practitioners, 2 are nurses, and my wife is a respiratory therapist and I myself have worked in a hospital as an ER security guard for years.

Wife is a nurse. She worked for UAB in the burn unit at one point, then Children’s where we met while I was a Biomed there. Sister-in-law is a nurse and she still works at UAB in their NICU at the WIC. Dad was a nurse and spent 30 years at what is now UAB St Vincent’s east. His mom was a nurse and actually taught nursing at Jeff State for a span when they launched the school of nursing there. Sister is an NP and works in UAB’s CPM, and also teaches psych nursing at CACC now. Her daughter has a masters in nursing and currently works at UAB.
Oh and my aunt runs the Alabama Board of Nursing lol.
How I didn’t end up a nurse is beyond me.

He didn’t ask for a ban, but for the other guy to be limited to what we call the “smack” forum, where low effort bullshite is supposed to go. And he’s right. The guilty party is one of the most intellectually lazy people I’ve ever met.
