I was on a golf trip with 90% UGA fans, so we missed all of the AU game and much of the UGA game. There is legitimate fear on their side about the QB room, and generally not as optimistic as they typically would be.
I think both fan bases will be watching the injury/health reports extremely closely before making substantial predictions on the game. If JT Daniels gets cleared, there will be a big surge of confidence on their side, but I was also hearing the guys discussing "insider info" that Kirby actually does not want Daniels to be the starter. So basically this is classic 2020 stuff heading into the new DSOR edition.

On the other side, the lack of pass rush and UK looked very good running the ball against our front. You can talk about all the experience UK returned on the OL all you want, but I refuse to believe that UGA's OL isn't better.
UGA got ZERO push for the entire first half against Arkansas. That may have been an anomaly, but questions are rampant on both sides right now.

23 UGA
10 AU
Standard 1st drive score for us, followed by frustration. Second meaningless drive in the second half results in the FG.
Georgia will look like crap, but that seldom matters for us in Athens.

Couldn't agree more. I think Auburn throws us a bone and gets that one touchdown like always and then we just Shite the bed and struggle the rest of the game. I also think Georgia struggles heavily. I see a very ugly and low scoring game, but I just can't see the win in Athens until it happens.
UGA-13

Watching the UGA Arkansas rerun during lunch really is boosting my optimism. UGA’s offense is pretty putrid. Their D had a pick 6 and another turnover to where they started in the red zone and this is against Arkansas. I say Chad has something for us to move the ball but we stall in the red zone and have to kick FG’s. Our D does just enough. 19-17 AU.

The final score doesn’t show how close this game was for a while. Georgia has major problems at QB.
This is a great chance to end the 15 year drought we have in Athens.
AU 24
UGA 17

I couldn’t agree more. With the reduced crowd, I don’t see Bo having communication problems like last year.

In unsurprising news, JT Daniels is cleared for Saturday. Not sure what that means on him playing, but knew they'd move mountains to get him eligible.

There’s a thread on the rant right now where UGA fans were saying Daniels/Mathis were Qb1a&b. Mathis got benched against Arkansas and Stetson Bennet came in.
So maybe Daniels isn’t that good either.

Same with LSU on the road. Since the epic collapses Between the Hedges in ‘16 and in Red Stick in ‘17 (both occurring when we appeared to clearly have the better team) I’ve little faith in our ability to get the W in either place.

I am so far past trying to predict Auburn football...especially since I fricking HATE Georgia and tend to bet with my heart.

26-24 uga. Just don’t trust gus to beat em on the road. I think we 100% should beat them though.

Im wondering why you believe this. The only spot that we are better than them is at QB. Pretty much every other spot, they have more talent plus they have way more depth.
We looked better than them Saturday but to say we should 100% beat them is a stretch Auz....
I think people forget the amount of talent UGA has acquired over the past few years.

Yep. That defense is going to give us a tough time as well.

Yes, but they also have a fantastic record of squandering talent. Obviously it’s worked for them against us, though

I mean they really didn't do well against Arkansas, but yet we want to act like we are bad compared to them? Nah I won't do that.
