This right here. Good post Corch - too many wusses and old men up in here. If anyone has a right to bitch about"staying up late" or time differences, whatever, it's me. Some of you should check your fandom. Never ONCE have I ever complained about at 12:30 am, 1:00 am, 2:30 am, 4:30 am, 6:00 am or any other kickoff, though the DST change mid-late season throws a wrench into things.

For Christ's sake, if AU football doesn't mean that much to you, then fine. Frickin' whiners up in here. Off my lawn, the whole lot of you!

MUH MAN!!! Preach and preesh! Thank you and have a day!

ETA -You too Freep. I didn't see your message when I posted.

ETA 2 - Now I hope ya'll can better appreciate what Freemanjiro went through trying to post what he could at all hours after binge watching / drinking every football game possible every weekend. Sleepless weekends. I love college football, AU in particular that much. You won't miss it so much till you don't have it, so appreciate it while you can.

Nah, I think I'd rather complain about a frickin' 11:00 am kickoff.

thats my plan

say, corch did you notice how they are teaching Robby to be more balanced enotionally?

now if they can keep those passes from sailing - being a baseball player he should know better accuracy

Yes I think they are working with him being less emotional but have to remember Robby is an outfielder. So he would naturally in baseball have a longer throwing motion then say a shortstop or catcher who generally have short throwing motions and more accuracy.

didnt know his baseball.. makes sense

I think they are working intensely on him being morestable after lows and highs

thought I saw Freeze get in a word about it to him after a good play

like it

Byron Haskins never had the first clue - cant believe Auburn ever hired that charlatan

Heard that Haskins had them running gasser sprints on Friday afternoons.. jeesh

Another 10:30 pm guy here. Been thinking about what to do all day to kill time. Even if I play golf til 8pm, that's still 2.5 more hours to go.

Bigger question is, what time to start drinking? Thinking 9pm or so.

You can easily waste hours after all the day games here as an option. As to drinking start, need more info. What will you be drinking, age, with whom, where, plans on Sunday / church, etc? Lots of factors to consider. If in doubt, then start drinking and start posting.

PS - I'm 53 and have some friends from Fairhope my age. Anyone you might know?

I cannot say this enough, I hate the freaking Eastern Time Zone. It sucks if you're employed or a church goer.

You people want more CBS 2:30 games or Fox hard to listen to fanalysts? Nope I'll take ESPN all day. It's a west coast game, which means they play west coast times. adjust your sleep schedule for a night be a night owl friday, wake up late saturday.

I’ll take a “Hard-Pass” on those options.

I usually dial down the volume on the Boob-Tube and listen to Stan & Andy…

I mean…Jason & Andy for the call on the Auburn Network App.

Oh??…and

…frick Gary Danielson!!

I'm almost certain I won't. I have to be up at 4am for a cross country meet.

I'd love it if we played well enough to put it away early!

Most of us don't work like that(at least I don't). I go to bed at 1, I'm still up by 6:30 or 7.

I get that it's a west coast game, but they have to take into account the other fanbase, especially when so many AU fans live on east coast time.

I'm not saying it should be a noon kickoff there, but would a 5:30 or 6:30 kickoff there be too much to ask? bama/Texas is the 7 pm game. We could easily kickoff at 8:30 or 9 and anyone that wants to catch our second half could do that coming from that game.

I'm damn sure gonna try, but I probably won't make it far into the 3rd quarter.

Same here. I have a body clock and I have responsibilities. If I ever take a nap during the day I end up waking up feeling like I have a nap time hangover.

With that said, I differ from you as well. Once I am watching the game I am hooked. There is no yawning, or going to the bed early. I have to talk here afterwards and that is when I will get the sleepies.

sorry, I don't believe that's true.

Schools schedule their OOC games. ESPN assigns the network and time. Hell, ESPN assigns the network and time for SEC games.

ETA if we all picked our time, we would all be playing prime time Saturday night.

All I know is I dont know how schools like Stanford will attract players that will be willing to travel across the country so frequently.

Think about Hawaii.

And those west coast schools going to the big10 & ACC...that will mess up their clocks regularly.

I only drink Alabama Corona's - Natty with a twist of lime.

47, back porch, retirement neighborhood, so just me. No plans, maybe take the boy golfing, but no church (this weekdend). I only post when drinking

Left Fairhope 3 years ago to live in SC, always watched with the Baldwin County AU Club in Fairhope, so maybe.

To the other guy, I love the EST, can play a full 18 at 5:30 after work. This one sucks, but it's worth it.
