The problem with Davis is rehab. Most clubs will want control over TJ recovery. It just depends how he will be viewed. He is not in a good spot.

So softball just got swept @UK and has looked horrible in their last two series. I doubt Dean feels any heat this year but he should feel it next year if we aren’t improved. We have fallen off big time.

What a weird arse inning. Walk, HBP, HBP, 1-2-3 where Bliss was called out for being in fair ground running to first. Runners have to stay at 1st and 2nd, WP, then a swinging k to leave them stranded.

Heavy rain, pitching on a turf mound. He threw a pitch called a trainer out for discomfort. Ump suspended the game for rain. After the rain delay ended, Butch lost it on the home plate ump and got tossed. Hopefully nothing serious.

Strange stat...they have given up 7 runs every game over the last 4 games.
Without Makayla, no dominating pitching. But the hitting going south is the strangest.
I know this is Dean's second year...but I don't see signs of progress or with new coaches a look of transition to something better. So far...not with his coaching.

Softball just can’t buy a hit this year. Outscored 46-8 in our last six conference games, and who knows when they will win again the way they’ve been outclassed recently.
I think a discussion might need to happen about if we want to retain Dean next year. I know he led a good program at JMU but our softball program has gone through one of the fastest crash and burns I’ve ever seen

Auburn softball drops the series at home to UF, losing the rubber match 6-1.
Truly shocked they won game 2 2-1, but lost the other two games pretty badly. Just not a team you can really see having a chance getting past regional play.
