I have changed my view about uniforms... We should wear an alternate for homecoming. Do not like this particular helmet. Want something that attracts the cruits.

Do you not know that the unwashed masses on this board hate any and all uniform concepts? According to them we have been playing in the same exact uniform since the conception of Auburn football. To suggest wearing anything else is heresy and blasphemy.

The game would not be on TV either for HC, but there would be publicity, their would be pictures, they could have them in the locker room, they could tell recruits when asked, "yes we will occasionally wear an alternative uniform". If you argument is to wear them for a more important game (maybe opening day), that is fine also, but wear them once per year.
I may be the oldest poster on this board (1977 graduate) and it is time for a change.

I wouldn't mind the occasional uni change, but I don't want it to become an every other week kind of thing. I like our uniforms, much like I like the Yankee's uniforms, no need to frick with perfection.

You know if the new NFL helmet rule i.s.o. concussion prevention tricles down to NCAA then the facemask and jersey are the only things we could really frick with.

I hate pretty much all uniform concepts, but I do love that helmet.
