He wants to coach. Think he follows Gus if he gets a job or someone else on his coaching tree.

Baseball contract after being drafted was 775K for 4 years.

He's probably not hurting if he knows how to live frugally.

Gus brought a lot of former players in as GA’s and support staff. Guessing Cord realizes his path of doing that got a lot harder at Auburn.

Maybe I’m wrong and he just wants to play ball a little before hanging up sports. Who knows but best of luck to him

I saw 775k signing bonus, couldn't find the contract $ total per year.

His baseball contract would have been the $775K signing bonus and the MiLB yearly salary (which is barely anything). He wasn't making $775K per year.
