Arnett would be a huge hire in my opinion.

I’d be surprised if Zach Arnett is not on Arky’s list and on Okies list if Ted Roof is fired or moved to an analyst role. Arnett’s on virtually every DC opening list and was last year as well.

Then we need to go ahead and make an over the top offer.

Odom almost seems desperate for another HC job. UNLV? That's as bad a job that's out there. Didn't they hire a Vegas high school coach last time?

Yep. Forgot his name, but he was the coach at Bishop Gormon. He had tons of connections and still couldn't get anyone to go there.

Personally, I always said if I was one of these highly ranked kids I would be going to Hawaii or Vegas to play my college ball lol.

Jim Leonhard is on the market. Won’t be staying at Wisky after the bowl. Probably gonna stay in big 10 country

Sounds like he’s headed to Nebraska with Rhule.

know if its Arnett he better figure out some 4 man fronts because that 3-3-5 nonsense isn't going to work around here

Steele ran the hell outta 3-3-5. But he had studs like Derrick Brown and Marlon Davidson up front. Gotta have studs up front. He ran it against that 2019 LSU squad and held them to their lowest point total and everyone else tried to copy it after we played them. Just didn't have as much success.

It had been heavily speculated by Hoke that crime dog could become Co-DC with T-will. Well, Mcgriff’s own Twitter bio shows him as co-DC. Would he be Co-Dc with Arnett?

I could see them giving him the title and very little if any responsibility, but TWill sounds like the more likely candidate if we are going co-DCs.

I thought Steele was more 4-2-5

Either way, Saban ran 3-4 for the longest time if I remember correctly. You can run a different scheme if you have the right guys. I think with the way modern offenses work, 3-3-5 are 4-2-5 are both solid schemes with the right guys, with that 5th DB being more of a true rover who can cover and tackle
