Yea, and they still had some 8-12 win seasons sprinkled in. Reminds me of our Gus era.

We are in a dumpster fire currently. It was time for Gus to move on; I never imagined it would get worse. He couldn’t win the big games, but we loathed to 8 win seasons sprinkled in with flash in pans.

I want Kiffin, Lanning, Campbell for longevity success

Or let’s go Lea & Key for a dual Coach. Our Softball team does…

Lane is not coming. Look for number two or three.

Maybe 2. There were multiple 3 and 4 win seasons in there too. The good ole days.

Sources said the contact was drawn up and verbally agreed on it and his Children’s Axed it bc they wanted to stay in Oxford

Jon Sumrall is going to make some AD look very smart. I doubt it will be ours.

We're going to have to fight off Florida for Kiffin.

We could consider an assistant coach. It's worked for Georgia, Oregon, Ohio State, and several other schools.

Someone who will be on head coaching lists soon is Mack Leftwich, OC at Texas Tech.

30 years old.

4th ranked offense in 2025 (Texas Tech).
5th ranked offense in 2024 (Texas State).
14th ranked offense in 2023 (Texas State).
1st ranked offense in 2022 (Incarnate Word).

In 2022 before Leftwich was hired by Texas State, they were 114th in total offense. He took them from 114th to 14th and 5th.

He's had elite offenses at 3 different schools and has set offensive records at all 3 of them.

Matt Campbell isn’t a hot commodity anymore? He constantly keeps Iowa State in contention. That’s pretty impressive.

I’m sorry but no more random names or projects. Get someone we know can win as a head coach.

Please do not group Gus with Hugh and Harsin. Not even the same planet.

When we had Gus and Hugh was at ole miss I always thought we had the better coach by far. Never understood the fuss around Hugh. Even less so now.

Yall can fight me, but Harsin was a better game day coach than HF. He knew football.
