QBs have a long way to go and not where they thought they would be at. Still making too many mistakes.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him go after a portal QB or 2 in the spring. Especially if NCST QB or McCall finally enter the portal

I think McCall graduates in summer and is free to come down as a grad transfer.
Freeze has three guys competing now, he cant come out and talk about it, and McCall is probably still on scholly so he cant talk about it either.
I hope the kid already has the playbook and film to study

We do not have a QB and they are holding us back on implementing the offense.

You mean to tell us that those two QBs that started for us last year haven’t improved ?!?!? Anybody with an ounce of FB knowledge knows they aren’t the answer…

These dudes have had 6 practices. They have 9 more to get it together. Is the McCall kids the answer? Maybe but dude couldn't get his academics together at his junior college. How likely is it that someone comes in by August and learns a system that Freeze and Montgomery are still trying to develop right now? Who knows but I hope our defense is stellar and can keep us in enough games to get us to 8 wins year one.

I was told that Hugh was gonna turn Robby into Nick Marshall before season starts. He had that one great thrown last year to confirm it

Disappointing to hear but it kind of makes sense. If they’ve only had 6 practices to work on a totally new offense, I would imagine they are feeling a bit overwhelmed given they’re not very good to start with, if that makes sense. It would be one thing if this was year 2 or 3 for these kids and they weren’t any better.
Hopefully Pastor Hugh can work some academic magic with McCall and get him here with enough time to click with the 1’s before SEC play starts.

The one that more than likely will not win the starting job at his current school because those coaches see he needs more time so those same coaches brought in an experienced transfer?

NCST fans seem pretty high on him, not sure why coaches brought someone in but probably to give the Freshman more time.
Also, no starter is going to be transfering in the spring
