LockedOn interview with FInley’s dad.

His dad isn’t a fan of Haskins 2 QB system. Says he came to play for Bobo’s system.

Corch what is interesting is TJ’s dad says TJ’s shoulder was so hurt that he had to eat with his off hand.

Do you think Harshin should get blamed for allowing the perception that Finley was benched? It doesn’t seem like Harsin ever helps take the heat off the QBs. Harsin in the presser downplayed the injury, saying both QBs were banged up as are other players.

Calzada, meanwhile, may be hurt from an off the field injury despite the staff being hell bent on insisting he’s not injured.

I listen to Harsin an other then the cliche talking points he uses I don’t find him interesting to listen to. So I tune out a lot.

When you lose a game you always have a hard time explaining it regardless if you take responsibility for it or throw players under the bus. It’s a delicate balance. I think he’s just an a-hole.

As far as the injury stuff I don’t understand why you won’t answer any basic questions about it. Like TJ is banged up. He’s day to day or Calzada either is fine and good to go or he isn’t.

I don't even know what to believe anymore. I listened to the interview. I was at the game. I cannot remember when this injury occurred. Was it noticable? Have I just erased that game from memory already?

Like others have stuff, I don't understand the cryptic stuff about not talking about players being banged up

I thought he was benched

When the team looks as bad as it did against PSU and has so far this year, a coach needs to own up to that. If he didn't have the right players in place then he needed to recruit. Throwing players under the bus just makes Harsin look silly, and yea he comes off as an arse.

As far as the injury stuff - as a rule, being too specific allows opposing defenses to gameplan for a more limited offense. just say "we don't discuss injuries" or "he was a little banged up but we're taking it day to day" - simple as. TJ was clearly already banged up before the game or he wouldn't be doing all this rotator cuff rehab stuff literally during warmups.

This "I'm not aware of an injury" and other weird shite Harsin says also just makes him sound dumb. You don't know if one of your QBs is injured as a head coach - if you don't know that what the hell do you know?

Well he did say he didn't know why Tank didn't get more touches in his post game presser this past Saturday.

Maybe the guy is just a legit moron.

He definitely got hurt. He got hit after throwing a ball and landed on his shoulder with the defender squarely on top of him. CBS showed a replay from an endzone angle and when he got up, zoomed onto his face and he was grimacing in pain. I believe it was a 3rd down play so he came off the field and his shoulder was hanging pretty low. His arm looked dead and was just dangling. I'm almost certain he had a few more plays after that, and maybe he was "benched" because he continued to suck, but he for sure got banged up.
