Performance on the field instead of speculation? I also don't actively celebrate anyone's failures jang. Plus the season isn't over and we're three games in. Celebration of failure seems to be patented by the New York Jets and Auburn Tigers.

I haven’t celebrated anybody’s failures. That was y’all during the Georgia game. My argument has stayed consistent and correct since January.

Also, I was literally the only person looking at performance on the field versus speculation. Y’all had arguments in the off-season that Calzada would get better year two or that TJ Finley could be our Jason Campbell while I surveyed the impact from both Calzada and Nix and TJ and concluded Nix was better by a metric mile. I’ve been 9 months ahead of y’all. Catch up. And when Nix throws less than two picks against Utah you’re gonna be gone from here for no less than two weeks. You might as well practice by getting lost.

I listened all last year, even sent them some AU stuff to give away that I didn't feel like moving to SC. The podcasts are too long. I like Zac Blackerby better.

Zac hinted that Calzada was the better QB, but there was a locker room issue if he started. It's from a podcast with a dude with a backwards hat, so take it for what it's worth.

I listen to both the end of the show today was support these players. They work so hard blah blah blah. As they trashed Bo Nix for 2 years and sang the praises of how good the OL was at pass blocking. Idiots

Why has 3 head coaches hitched their wagon to Bo if he’s so terrible. I’ve never seen a college player that has had zero off field issues be such a lightening rod of criticism as he has in my 40 years of watching football and not just Auburn fans… nationally polarizing. It’s weird

Mixed bag. Still made excuses of bad OL play and scheme for Robby.

But no they didn’t attack the QB so in general I’d say yes I was correct in my statement

And they blamed the coaches as well. So yeah handed out free passes to the QBs but also said they wouldn’t be shocked to see Calzada at Mizz.

Indeed. You were all dialed in. You should write for the New York Times on the Auburn Tigers an the New York Jets.

(edit) You didn't do any of that shite.

Bo passed for 5 TD's yesterday. Did he even come close to 5 TD's in one game at AU?

You should listen to Malik talk these days. According to his interviews he just didn’t try hard enough then. Whose fault is that?

Isn’t part of a coach’s job to recognize and motivate talent?

I thought Bo passed for 3 ran for 2 yesterday but I could be wrong. Bo single handed ly kept us in many games we had no reason even competing and is a winner.

The Oregon UGA game this year. Sure he threw 2 picks. His first came in the early 2nd quarter already down 21-0. At some point in a game like that you gotta take chances. His second INT was a bad read again at that point down very big

he actually passed for 2 and ran for 3.

And that was against the highest ranked non-P5 team in the country.

The point I'm guessing is that we'd be better with Bo Nix. With the benefit of hindsight I think it's obvious that we would. We are getting terrible QB play and I think AU's floor would be lower with Bo Nix. You also have to apply a negative weight to someone that I'll just say had a certain unchangeable attitude. Williams the receiver kid is another player you can make that argument. Was he productive enough to tolerate the effort and behavior when the ball wasn't thrown his way? Harsin made the determination with Nix - and I don't think it was the other way around - that he wasn't. If he had even average QB play Harsin might be correct but Auburn isn't getting even average QB play. You can put that on Harsin too so its a circular argument that is giving me the vapors. Go Utes.

I learned this weekend that Witttingham is fan of Broadway shows of all things. Loves them. I thought I knew him but apparently not. He and his wife make a New York trip once a year and he goes to Broadway shows. He has a top five Broadway show list that doesn't include Les Miserables. Why? Because he left the theatre feeling so awful after that excrement. Thank you coach Whit!!

Coach interests/hobbies outside of coaching are always fascinating to me, usually because they're fricking wild.

"Oh, you like to drag race coach? That's pretty cool. Oh, your dad is the reason why? Awesome!"

"And what about you coach? Is the reason you like to drink and frick coeds because of the impact your father had on your life too?"

Harsh about you celebrating the potential negativity of my two week ban, when you don't wish negativity on anyone. I wouldn't celebrate yours if the shoe falls on the other foot. Id probably just waive the requirement. Also interesting that you've been chirping for nine months - negatively - about how awful our Auburn QB room is. You are correct friend. Congratulations. Auburn is terrible.

I met Mike Holmgren in my back yard of all places. I was digging up all the old fenceposts. He was buying a house for his daughter next door to go to med school and I'm a mile away from the U. We talked home improvement/construction. First he's a gigantic human being. Has to be at least 6'5". Also helped me with the cement posts. Very nice person. I looked up later he had a history in Utah.

Bo is definitely better off at Oregon though. He is much less likely to get murdered due to shite Line playing in the PAC v the SEC.

You’re the one constantly asking for the ban bets and I obliged. 2 week ban bets are playful so stop getting your feelings hurt. The bet is still on because frick Utah and frick you for talking shite about Bo for months and pretending today like you never did anything but cheer people on. You talked some mad shite about Kerryon Johnson to be our choir boy that loves 3 TE sets and Auburn football.

My guy, they weren't giddy at all that TJ won, I think they wanted Ashford to win more than anything. You also seem to run with the narrative that they wanted Finley over Nix, and that was only for a brief time when Nix was messing up. I don't know what you're hearing, but you're not listening to what they're saying.

I think people hate on Bo a lot and forget this fact. He wasn't Johnny Manziel, but he kept plays alive when an ordinary QB (TJ Finley) would have gotten crushed.
