Rhino5 wanted some Caddillac Backyard Ball because he wanted some short-lived relief.

Growing pains are for the winners or something.

Freeze just went full retard and refused to bring in a QB. This team would be undefeated right now, and people would be singing his praises. Hopefully he doesn’t make that mistake again. If he does, then I’ll join the mob. Right now, I’ll continue to give to OTV and watch the top talent that we haven’t seen since the Chiz days continue to flow in.

Freeze gambled on Thorne and lost. It was a dumb bet and now the pitch fork crew is rumbling and the talking heads will seize on the dumbest among us opinion to suggest Freeze's seat is warming up.

We need to chill and give the man this year and next before anyone talks about his seat getting warm. The program needs stability and we are a few INTs from being undefeated.

I can't believe I'm having to defend Freeze, but here we are.

I think Freeze will eventually get it together. I think the gamble on Thorne was a huge loss but I think he will learn from his mistake. The recruiting has been phenomenal. I just think it will take some time, especially with all of the freshman he brought in. I also think we will win again Oklahoma because our run game is the best they've faced.

If I were in charge not only would freeze be guaranteed this year but next year as well. We need some semblance of stability

He’ll for sure be back next year. And the pressure next year will be immense.

Freezus isnt going anywhere soon

the real problem is that the people responsible for hiring him aren’t either

this had HUGE MISTAKE written all over it and we naturally plowed right on ahead with it

We have to come to the realization that the Auburn job has never been a hot job.

Dye (From Wyoming after a long stint at E.Carolina)
Tiny Terry Bowden (Samford, Auburn was going on Probation)
Tuberville (The one coach that came from a major program, SEC)
Chizik (Mr. 5-19, caught lightening. We want a winner not a loser)
Malzahn (1 Year at Arkie State)
Potato Head (Boise) (The masses got in the way of the BOT who wanted Kevin Steele) who was like 3-30 at Ole Miss).
Freeze (Liberty, but did well at Ole Miss).

We got turned down by a lot of folks.

We are stuck with Freeze no matter what.

I’ve yet to think we should fire the guy.

I personally wanted Mike Elko who is not only a guy with high character that recruits well but a guy who has a philosophy of killer defense, physicality on both lines of scrimmage, and excellent game day management on both sides of the ball.

Auburn sold its soul by hiring a couple guys (Freeze and Durkin) that aren’t people with good character in order to recruit better and was sold a “bill of goods” that Freeze was some “quarterback whisperer” which is utter and completely BS.

It is what it is.

The people that hired Freeze are just as dirty as he is. Full stop.

The dirty stuff is irrelevant if the recruit mommas love him. If they aren't worried about him why should we. I'm more worried about gameday coaching than his character right now.

I also think it's unfair to call him dirty if he has sincerely repented for his transgressions against his family and church.

If these are the results of selling our soul, then the devil is weak af. Maybe we need to try contacting Cthulhu

If we keep freeze and dont bring in a superstar at QB, we are in trouble next year.

Freeze has stated before that he wants to use our NIL to build his roster before going in big for a portal QB for a one year splash. He wants the roster in place for a true run before he does that.

We can agree or disagree with that all we want. Right now, it appears to be biting us in the arse, but that is his strategy and we will have to live with it. Maybe this year will be enough that he has to move quicker on a portal QB or maybe next year was the plan for that, no idea.

I agree though, if the QB position doesn’t get turned around quick, I don’t know how long the Freeze experiment will last.

Pretty sure you left out a QB that has already beaten out Stidham. Dont be that guy.
