Benn saying this for year too. Maybe now you all can see it. There is no talent on this team. And the talent we do get usually gets run off quickly. Meanwhile you all think a midget is a good back because of 4stars.

You do realize that we just got mandhandled by a team that (according to recruiting rankings) has crushed it the past 6-7 years, right? If anything this game gives credence to the legitimacy of them.

I think there is talent. Unfortunately, it’s lacking big time in the most important positions in college football. The D and O lines.

I dunno. The re ruiting rankings seem pretty accurate over there in Athens. They are #1 or #2 every year and it shows. We dont have one guy who would start on UGA's team outside of maybe Sherwood.

They've been pretty accurate.. fact is we haven't recruited good enough on the OL.

Are you serious? It has never been more clear how accurate they are. Our two biggest areas we’ve struggled with are DTs and OL, which is where 85% of our problems are.

LT- low 3 star DT, LG- Low ranked OL from Akron, Center- 4 star, RG- low ranked DL, RT- 3 star
DE- 4 star, DT- low 3 start, other DT- High 3 star, DE- 4 star.
If anything this game made the point that stars do matter because their highly ranked players made our players look like bitches.

Kentucky game shows exactly where our talent is. Georgia game shows exactly where our coaching is. Recruiting rankings aren't fake. Also you think a talented role player sucks bc of his height. I really hope you didn't celebrate when he trucked the frick out of Mckinney last year.

The issue with the numbers is there is no way to account for filling needs. But if you follow recruiting at all none of this should be surprising. Where we have recruited well we are ok, where haven’t we are awful and it just happens to be the two most important positions

I don't think you realize how many ELITE players UGA is trotting out. And they're everywhere on the field but QB. They have 5* guys playing in every single position group dude.
That talent is gonna make a lot of teams look bad. Especially when the gap in talent in the trenches is what it was tonight.

Correct. I get what Brannigan is saying and I think most would agree. The problem is he loves saying it like Brannigan
We’ve had some solid classes on paper but all know we’ve failed miserably to fill some major needs, namely OL.

They do matter but you aren't looking at the recruiting rankings and talent the way that you are supposed to. Sure we are like 9 or 10 spots or so behind Georgia and bama, they recruit highly at all positions. Our best talent seems to be at skill positions mostly. We get abused in the trenches against every team with a pulse because they recruit top talent on the OL and DL every year. We are going to beat some teams, but unless there are turnovers I doubt we beat any good teams.

Coaching is the problem. We’re in a worse spot than usual because we didn’t have a normal offseason to install a new offense. Especially during a season where we replace a whole OL
