And that doesn’t make you any more or less of an Auburn fan. Just say what you gotta say

My God. Shut the hell up. "Might not win the game." I think anyone can deal with a loss. Lord knows Auburn fans should be use to that by now. But that yesterday was no normal loss. It was a complete meltdown, a total collapse. No excuses for that.

For real. I’m somewhere in between Harsin is going to be a complete failure and acting like that yesterday was a run of the mill loss. That loss wasn’t because of rebuilding or talent. It was a complete coaching failure from top to bottom.

I never said I was more or less, or that any of you are either. I’ve said all I need to about how I feel.

Quoting one of you morons on here, "You recruit like Moo State, you get beat by Moo State." Such a profound statement. Should be our new moto.

So the return of an entire inept offensive line is guaranteed success? You need to move to judging 8 year old flag football talent.

This and next year are rebuilding years ...

What the fan base needs to do is enjoy the game. Stay in the damned stadium until the board reads 0:00.

Hell Saban was screaming about that two years ago. 55 Point lead and the student body left to go get drunk with 10 minutes left on the board.

Fickle fair weather fans .....I sat in a down pour from start to finish and watched Jo Pa kick Bowden's arse. Stayed until 0:00 was on the board. Cold as hell and wet from the top of my head to the toes of my feet. I don't leave. I paid for it, I stay.

Congratulations. I guess that makes you "Super fan" or something.

Yeah you should. Your crybaby soup has already turned stale and probably heading toward three day floater.

Was it shocking... yes. But well within what I considered possible. They been taking a half off all year.

This is the shittiest of shitty journalism and by Hoke, nonetheless. Congrats on those clicks because I’ll never go to On3 now.

What Nix actually said:
You know, I’m not quite sure what happened there. Just felt like the entire stadium — the life — just kind of mellowed out and the life of the stadium kind of relaxed there for a minute and it was hard to get some momentum back. They did a great job of doing good on offense, defense and special teams. They came back and made it a game and we didn’t do our part. We came out really hot, really on fire, moving the ball well, scored a lot of points and then I mean, that’s just on us for relaxing and we just didn’t have the same intensity that we needed. You just kind of felt it and that’s never good."

I will agree with you here.

I saw the headlines trying to make what he said out to be something. “Journalism” by guys like that has become a joke. I stopped following Hoke a long time ago because he can be so dramatic and off.

JFerg still the man tho

It’s just too early for me to get a read on harsin. It seems to be our players inconsistency more than game planning at times. Other times I wonder what the coaches are doing. Like the 2 point conversion yesterday and the fourth down call at penn state.

Hey guys just a reminder.

Saban @ Bama started 6-2, ended up 6-6 in his first year

LOL. OK but Saban brought in the 3rd ranked recruiting team in 2008 and the 3rd in 2009. His first class in 2007 was 12th. Won the west in 2008 and 2009 and the Natty in 2009

And he started with a program that had been on probation for a long time

There are some things that dont need to be compared. Nick Saban is one of them.

This isn’t the way to win any argument about the Auburn football program.

Auburn fans tend to be their own worst enemy. We went from firing a coach because of poor performance on the field, knowing coming into this year we had major question marks on the offensive line and wide receiver, to somehow talking ourselves into winning the SEC West??? We then have a major meltdown against Mississippi State, and now have many on this board wanting to fire another head coach, who is in his first year, playing with the players the coach we just fired recruited, because of performance issues

This place is a fricking trip.

I agree about not comparing to Saban. Just a reminder that it doesn’t happen day 1

Saban started out recruiting Tubs from day 1 though. Not a great comparison.
