He might be good but it seems like another MEH hire.

Well, getting a DC to be a pos coach is a typically good hire……. But I understand that isn’t what anyone wants.

BTW, To say it’s meh and not have a clue about the coach is not surprising

Peeler was thrown around everywhere, his bowl game passed, and a lot of our fans still thought it could be him or someone even close to as hype?

I read the blurb about Colorado and transfer issues before they hired Deion. I've always been curious why CU hasn't been good in football since the late 80's-90's, and with them also being in the PAC 12. It a great school and location.

1. Transfer requirements were stringent. They are looking at if for sports and promised to fix it...

2. They have been unwilling to pay for upper tier coaches, assistants and recruiting. (They have supposedly fixed that with this go around)

3. Good Location but if you have to recruit only a certain type of player (ala, Vandy, Standford, etc) then it would be hard to get great players. (This is also supposed to be addressed.)

We will see what happens over the next couple of years. It will be interesting to see what is going on out there.

Since you know Aldridge so well: give us a 10,000 word briefing about him in another thread. People are allowed to think what they want to think so stop complaining about it.

LOL, I was kinda hoping for Muschamp... I'm not going to pretend to be a know-it-all arm chair QB like some people here and claim to know who every available DC is. Just to be clear, I'm not upset about the hire and I sincerely hope he does a good job.

WDE!!!

God I can't believe I was ok with Lane if he became our head coach. His "analytics bullshite would have driven me crazy

I'm watching and at this point in the game I'm thinking we dodged a huge bullet... but that could change.

It was God’s plan. Ole Miss opened the pocket book for a coach that may end up with his 5th loss of the sesson.

Meanwhile if he was at Auburn he would’ve ended up being a rockstar.

Corch we dodged a bullet not getting Lane. And he was my 2nd choice for HC.

Instead of Kiffin and his thrills we will be experiencing a revival on the plains.
