I just double checked: Hoke said Johnson was one of Cohen’s favorites and he is thought to be immediately available.
Yep and when Marcello was asked about it earlier in a live chat he completely dismissed it. It was another case of Hoke making stuff up. He saw the connection between Cohen and Johnson and decided that was enough to throw him on a coaching list.

There is so much misinformation it is hard to keep up. One of them said Johnson has interviewed and did a really good job

Johnson won't leave a possible Super Bowl ring behind

Washington's coach is a stud. Zero chance we take a flyer on him though.

I don't disagree, I'm just relaying that he has some folks at AU that like him and believe he could win at AU.

UF is about the same as AU. So I don’t know why people think he would do any better here. He did have one good season there and one good season at USC, but he got fired twice for a reason.

His downfall always seems to be his offenses.

Also signed a hell of an extension for a Pac-12 coach.

Yeah something we have sorely missed the past two seasons.

JGT said he interviewed I believe informally. I just checked JGT first brought him up on the 18th.

No doubt. That why when this misery is over with Muschamp announced as HC, they'll have an OC that will knock our socks off.

I was laughing typing this.

Tom Herman had his own players negatively recruiting against him.

He’s Harsin 2.0 no thanks. Don’t need that toxic shite at Auburn after what they just went thru

Where at TX or OHST? He can coach offense, i don’t give a shite about a few pussies that couldn’t hack it.

Muschamp was confused as heck about offense at UF. Didn't know at all what would work or last. Now everyone in college is basically running the same thing that works (spread / rpo). There is no confusion. Plus he had to do massive clean up for Urban Meyer.

South Carolina - good gosh - Spurrier ran away. Weren't they 1-10. No benefit of transfer portal QBs.

Loves Auburn, and would unite the power brokers.

Please don't down vote.

That’s Texas recruiting for ya.

For some reason, Texas players don’t have the toughness stigma that Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida do.

Should give cignette a look. He runs spread with heavy run game. Comes from a family of coaches. Has a great overall record. Was a position coach under Saban.
