With all the smoke this week, I’m amazed some of you still don’t see that it’s a done deal with Kiffin. He tried his best to stem the rumor yesterday so he can finish it out with his players how he wants, but it’s over. I reckon it has been for at least a week. Now Lane just has to get his guys through this game, then he can say whatever the hell he wants. It’s over gents. We got him.

I’m typically super skeptical of the info we get but I’m as confident as I’ve ever been that it’s Kiffin. It’s that or the most well executed smokescreen for another guy that I can remember.
I guess my hopes aren’t really “up” because, while I like Kiffin, I feel like I’ve got realistic expectations for what he’s going to bring since we’ve seen so much of him at this point. I’m happy to sign up for it but I won’t be crushed when/if it doesn’t happen either

I'm hearing that Lane is/was pissed about it being leaked prior to his game. However, since Auburns offer is significantly higher than what Ole Miss is willing to do, he's still expected to make the swap after cooling down about it some.

This last 7 days have been amazing watching the OM fans lose it and other fan bases chiming in. It’s been one of the best weeks on the rant in a very long time for implosions. Our own fans having moments of comedy.
I have no idea who we end up with. I know Kif is the main target and let’s ride if we get him and hope the backup has as many positives. None of the candidates are foolproof or without flaws. I am looking forward to the announcements
