Makes you respect the GOAT even more. Instead of resting on his laurels and achievements up to that point to appease his ego, he saw the game passing him by, and demanded a change.
Or the reverse of Chiz, who went from Gustav's highly successful HUNH to a 'traditional' pro-style offense under Tom Brady's mentor Scott Loefler
BTW, that video reminded me what an absolute fluke that second Ole Miss victory over Bama in 2015 was. 5 Tide turnovers and that ridiculous TD pass that made the Prayer in Jordan-Hare look like it was a designed play.

Ole Miss benefitted from a couple very generous literal bounces as well.
We too have had a couple games where nothing seemed to go right.

Yeah, it was the goofiest game ever. And look, Freeze deserves a lot of credit for beating Bama those back to back years. That's an achievement against two great Bama teams to even be in position to win. But this notion that Freeze is some big game savant when compared to Kiffin because of those two isolated results is silly, especially when one of them happened like that.

I also noticed in that Wyatt video that, right as he's describing the RPO TD in the 2013 IB as a 'perfectly legal play', you can see Alex Kozan about 3 1/2 yards past the LOS
We got the benefit of the doubt on that call, but other than the Kick 6 (which was just a smart coaching decision that paid off bigtime) that was just good, well played football. Nothin fluky about it.

Well Bama also had just an abominable day kicking field goals, but I guess that was somewhat normal for them in big games at the time

Neal is saying that a “big name” coach reached out to Ole Miss.
The board is speculating Fickell.
Sexton, take a bow.

Yeah, I think AU got away with one there. But the RPO was pretty new to the SEC in 2013. In the years since that time, the refs have emphasized calling penalties for "lineman down field." I know they put an "emphasis" on it in the rule book a few years ago.

Bruce and Kiffin like each other a lot from what I have heard. Guarantee they have already spoken on the phone at length about working at AU.
I like Bruce's chances to close the deal.

Brainiac football? We have Jonah Hill and Brad Pitt to blame.

If there's someone who can sell Auburn, it's Bruce.

So we are assuming it’s 100% already a done deal then? That would be weird otherwise right?

Crap. I really hope they are wrong.

More than likely the agent is just doing agent stuff. He would’ve wanted the vacant Auburn job over the Ole Miss High School stadium.

Jang, don’t you think it’s about time to change your badge to TCU?

Why?
Edit: done
