There’s only one way to blaze, and that’s up.

I actually thought he said a lot. I’m guessing 100% guarantees are your jam, and if so, just stay right here and continue punting away all information shared.

Yeah, I mean, come on, he writes a public, specific prediction for Kiffin. Give some credit, this is one case where you can't pile on for saying nothing.

Do you mean Arkansas State?

No. Todd Graham and Gus have a relationship (I believe Graham was an analyst on the 2013 team). He then hired Kodi Burns for a season or so before Gus brought him on at Auburn and now the 3 first candidates on his list to get that job have ties to Auburn.

But Arky state works too with Gus/Harsin/Freeze all being there.

Nevermind, Gus worked for Graham at Tulsa. Graham was never at Auburn. It was Chip Lindsey who left AU for Arizona State. But the ASU/AU connection is still there in that case.

Graham was not an analyst at Auburn but he was HC at Tulsa when Malzahn was OC there.

Kodi never worked for Graham either

Sauces say it’s still Kiffin until it’s not.

Yeah I was thinking of Chip Lindsey leaving Auburn for Arizona State.

I don't think Deion goes to State. He will be picky

The last two P5 openings he had conversations with were TCU and Arkansas.

If North Texas opens, I wouldn't be surprised if he went there.

I been wondering, has anyone been a HC at three different SEC schools? Two, sure, all the time, but if Lane comes here, I can't remember another. Maybe I drink too much.

Also kinda wild that the HCs of our marquee men's sports would essentially be 2009 Tennessee

Technically it doesn't count but Bear Bryant was at Kentucky, TAM, and Bama.

If Saban had his way when he left LSU, Houston Dale Nutt would have been the first

Bear Bryant:
Kentucky, Alabama, Texas A&M

I know A&M was SWC at the time, but it makes a good trivia answer.

Bear Bryant if you count his Aggy time which wasn't SEC when he was there.

I believe he is the only one who could theoretically qualify. A bunch have been at two as HC. But Will Muschamp is on his 5th SEC job currently. (6 if you count Texas when they join)

JGT put out a coaching search update and said Auburn has been in talks with other coaches along with Kiffin and Freeze. He mentioned Dabo, Ryan Day, Fickell, Clawson, Dykes and Eagles assistant Brian Johnson.

He still thinks Kiffin is #1. He said he thinks Fickell/Dykes and to a lesser degree Dabo see an SEC operation like Auburn as a step up and the SEC and Big 10 are separating themselves from the rest.

He said Day, Dykes, Dabo, and Fickell are involved to a degree but he remains skeptical regarding actual interest and thinks it's the work of agents.

He was their RBs coach for about a month in 2016 in the transition from Graham to Chip Lindsey before he came to Auburn as WR Coach.

That’s like saying Austin Davis worked under Harsin and Auburn

Regarding Day's interest someone commented that Ohio St may not be giving him what he wants, and he doesn't like that their nil is corporatized ( example given was deals with local chipotles) someone else posted he's been talking with potential staff.

They believe it's unlikely to happen like a 1% chance and it's probably agent dealings, but that's the rumor at least.
