But my point was that schools will make contract changes without offers being in place. It's safe to say Auburn or no one else had offered him at that point or he would be gone by now.
As far as Kiffin, I still don't think anyone knows anything. He is just the one all the media is targeting so the rest are too. He's the safest bet right now. If it's someone else they can just say he turned us down, even if he was never offered.

PAM believes James Franklin is the mystery candidate.
We are now on contract watch, if Ole Miss does not announce an extension in the next few days, probable looks good for Auburn.
I am not as confident in Lane, but still think he is the guy. People play games, change their mind (on both sides), etc.
