Coaching searches are always crazy with only limited information. I am still staying with Kiffin. I believed a deal was agreed to for 7 years 77 million, 75% guaranteed. Could that have changed as it is rumored? Always a possibility. I do not believe Auburn will pay LK 120 million for 10 years. Have Dabo, Fickell, others inquired, that is probable. I think we might agree to pay Dabo 10 years for 120 million. I do not believe Freeze is 100% out of the picture, but he is clearly a fall back candidate (So was Pat Dye).

Lane still the target. Interwebz posters make up lies. Jones has a man crush on Hok.

Dabo or Kiffin will replace Saban. Only Sexton knows when that will be

Agreed. We’ll see how it all plays out

would yall rather have dabo or kiffin
I would rather have Kiffin, but obviously Dabo wouldn't make me cry. He would definitely be a hire where you'd want to grab some popcorn and stroll Twitter after it happens, though.
Of course, it won't happen. There is zero reason Dabo would want to leave the faux Auburn for the real one. Clemson could match the offer and Dabo has a much easier route to the playoffs up there.

He better hire a good DC and let them pick his own staff if they hire him. But I think that should alway be the case so they can run their defense.

From the Rebs board
Isn’t this exactly what Kiffin has done his entire career, jumped every time a better opportunity came up?

Listened to Lowe he said our NIL is 10 times bigger than OM according to his source. Wonder if that source is one Lane Kiffin? It also makes sense that at his presser Cohen made it clear that we would be uber aggressive in the NIL space. Sending a signal to prospective coaches.

I find it interesting Saban is not aggressive in the NIL space and is just currently living off reputation.

It’s time to bury Nicky…. Make the move PTBs, let’s end them with the right hire.

I also find it interesting we are upper tier NIL. Wasn't expecting that.

Yeah but we need a defense to win. You can have talent and a bad DC keep you from having a defense. Hurry up offenses already have trouble, more times than not, producing a good defense to compete. Yeah we need talent but we also need a defensive plan to work with the offensive style we bring in. We can't focus on offense and just hope talent makes up for the defensive coaching.
We have had more than our share of imbalanced teams over the years.
