Well that’s just incorrect.
He was 3-5 again ranked teams at Temple. And none of the three wins were against a P5 team.

Can we change the name of this thread to the Coaching Search thread? The current title leads to confusion and the board is disorganized in effect.
Also, I just saw on twitter that earlier odds were listed for auburn HC and initially Grimes was +1100. They then pulled the odds from the board. Then, they put the odds back up and grimes was +100.

Coach Dye had a winning record in his 2nd year and took Auburn to 9 consecutive post-season appearances (ended finally by the Benedict Ramsey so-called scandal).
Tater Tot then took over, had 2 winning record probation years, then took Auburn to 3 consecutive post-season appearances until utterly imploding and being shown the door.
Tuberville took the reins and had 8 consecutive winning seasons at Auburn (including an SECC) starting in his 2nd year before he imploded.
Auburn has NEVER had to be a slow rebuild.

I will say you are correct but we have just fired the worst coach in the history of our program.
Our roster next year will be on par with Vandy, seriously, on par with Vandy. 10 transfers and 15-20 high school players aren't turning that around quickly.
Plus it appears none of the recruited players the past couple years have gotten any development outside of WR and I'm not sure we have middle of the pack WR talent to begin with. Tank is more then likely the only NFL back on the roster. We are in a bad spot.

If it is Kiffin we won't know until December. I guess that will be a tell tell sign we getting him if no-one is hired before then

Seriously then go to the roster and name 10 on the roster that would be on the 2 deep at any team in the conference with a .500 or greater record
