Clearly you’re not reading. It’s likely his firing will be pinned on verbal abuse and being a shitty football coach that couldn’t suck PTB dick.

If the AD uses those criteria to fire him for cause, Auburn will never be able to hire a good coach and will become the next Tennessee.

That’s just over exaggerated fear mongering. Look at the facts at hand. He has done nothing but actively dig our program into a bigger hole than what Malzahn left.

Rumors aside, having a personal assistant that looks like that who moved across the country for the job seems like trouble.

Is she a close family friend or something? That would seem less weird. Even reasonable wives would be like “uhhhh” otherwise.

This is exactly true.

Rodney Garner was well known for his verbal abuse of the D Line, no one wanted to fire him for cause because of that.

IF we fire a head coach for this, we will only be able to hire the softest of charmin coaches.

No we won't. Bruce Pearl performed and was rewarded with big money. Gus and Chizik were both made very wealthy for winning an SEC and National title respectively. Coaches also have huge egos and are very competitive, they all go into their jobs convinced it won't happen to them.

Also alot more thought was put into what looks like a knee jerk reaction to us. I couldn't tell you what those thoughts were exactly

The way you get to be Tennessee is hiring crappy coaches and keeping them for longer than you should. The next couple of years are dead already so ripping the band aid off and trying to get the next hire right is the best move for the program.

wonder if those that threw shade at Freeze will accept him now that Harsin is cut from the same cloth?

It’s all Vaccine related. We’re turning into one of those schools.

I mean it depends. If we fire him for cause for “verbal abuse” that didn’t actually cross any lines, on top of the affair rumors that many of our fans are baselessly spreading, I don’t see why any established coach would want to come here.

Harsin hasn’t done a good job. He would probably be fired after 3 years in normal circumstances. However like it or not we hired him and if we wanna get rid of him we need to man up and just fire him like normal with his buyout (unless he actually did something wrong)

Saw somewhere might of even been here that the "Personal Assistant" follows Mrs. Harsin on IG.

If the guy was screwing his assistant that he brought over here from Boise then he deserves what he gets. That’s just stupid. Go screw anyone not on AU payroll working directly under you.

I know this is just a rumor. But, if you are making millions of dollars a year and you cannot keep it in your pants, why not just be a sugar daddy on your own dime?

Get some lady a nice beach house and an allowance.

And once you establish that you’ll undermine coaches at every turn and find a B.S. excuse to fire them, good coaches don’t want to come. It’s a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Reading this board last year, you’d assume that Nick Saban would need multiple years to rebuild the program.

If Harsin did something illegal or seriously unethical, I understand firing him. If people aren’t happy with his first year of performance and want to use mean words as a pretense to fire him, be careful what you wish for.

This keeps getting said, but its only a half truth. Was RG a hard arse in practice? 100%. RG was also really good to kids off the field though. Thats the difference.

I’m with you if our people and media are attacking his character. It’s one thing to want someone gone but character attacks should be condemned by all and should embarrass all Auburn men and women if that is what’s happening, and from my view that is what’s happening until some proof comes forth.

I also feel bad for the young lady being ties to this if it is all false info. We will never get a coach worth a damn if that comes to be true. fricking clown world.
