Was at the 93 iron bowl and remember Pat Nix starting to go in, after White was injured, without his helmet.

Nix remembers exactly where his helmet was -- under the bench where a grad assistant left it

That pass was on a fourth and 14 and the eruption after the catch caused the up rights on the goal post to move back and forth from the vibration. LINK

Here’s the Interview

Thanks for posting the link.

I am impressed by his poise and demeanor. He shows small intangibles that make a person a leader of men. SVP even tried to call him out on passing credit off, but Bo does it instinctively.

I also love how he so clearly discusses the plays and the moment. I read into the evidence of clarity that the game isn't moving too fast for Bo. Often the difference between talent vs success when a player moves from one level to the next is their own ability to clearly process the information coming at a faster pace. When people describe the "IT" factor of a QB IMO this is what they are trying to define. Thankful, early on, Bo shows signs of having "IT".

Side Note: Owen also seems to see the game in slow motion, which is a huge intangible for a SEC LB.

Bo interviews really well for a FR. He just needs to learn to say War Eagle.

It's obvious that you absolutely missed my point but you need to keep doing you I guess.

I think most of us got your point. It's just a ridiculous overreation. There's a limit to how much work a guy can put in and be useful. It's why normal college students don't just take 30 hours and graduate in 2 years. Ever hear the phrase "paralysis by analysis"? I should remember who it was, but a prominent QB last year talked about how he was watching so much film that he was trying to know literally everything a defense was doing to the point that he had too much information to make quick decisions. That QB had Peyton Manning (the guy who is known as probably the most prepared QBs ever) tell him to relax and watch film until he felt comfortable that he knew what the defense would do and not overdo it.

I'm not saying whether Bo is a film junkie or not. I don't know if he is putting in the right amount of work in the weight room, on the practice field, or with film. I have no idea. However, this interview is certainly not hurting him IF he is already doing the right things. If a couple of 10 or 15 minute interviews send him spiraling, Nix simply isn't mentally sound enough to be an elite QB already.

SVP immediately called him out for giving all the credit to everyone else. Bo handles himself well

I think that if Bo doing an interview was a concern for the team then paranoid Gus would have shut it down.

I wish I had this kids poise at 18 or 19 years old. He acts like a veteran.

2 things really stuck out on his interview:

1. Interesting tidbit that Nix told about Seth telling him he lost track of the ball in flight, and that scared Nix a little. lol.

2. The end of the interview, Nix said he hoped to the kids out there that he would be a role model to them.

That's unbelievable thinking and poise for a TRUE Freshman...

I'm Debbie Downer? Do you read this board?

Nope, you're just another example of an a-hole on yet another message board site filled with assholes.

Dude, the OP just posted Nix is gonna be on Sportcenter.

All you had to do is say thanks and watch it, or deny your need to post.
