And that lists, has to start with:
Brent Venables

This is just stupid. Venables isn't going anywhere.

"Bill Clark doesn't have the necessary experience as a P5 HC to be HC at Auburn.... That's why we should hire Brent Venables!"

We should do better than Clark or venables if we’re firing Gus

Why go from one high school coach to another? Rather give it to Twill and hire great coordinators.

The head coaches at LSU and Clemson shows hiring a coach is a crap shoot. Both were head scratching hires and both turned out well to very well. Clark has better credentials than Sweeney had. Outside of the few, Myer, Saban.., you just don’t know. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the coaches who know how to cheat the most and get away with it are the most successful.

Whole lot of lol in this thread.

Clark is an excellent coach and who I wanted us to hire as DC when we got Boom. I think he can be an elite coach at a high P5 level sooner than later.

All this talk is pointless anyways, we aren't losing another game this year.

Let’s not forget that Venables has no desire to actually be a head coach

Their records at the high school level is the only comparison between Gus & Clark. Gus is a stubborn football nerd. Clark is a complete football coach on & off the field. Also what Clark has done in reviving UAB should have shaken off the just a high school coach label.

Hire Clark and what do we have to lose? The bama, LSU, and Uga game? We do that already.

Having free reign to a ton of D1 transfers and jucos against cusa teams doesn’t shake that

Other CUSA teams have the same reign to D1 transfers and jucos. Difference is, they didn't have their program shut down for two years.

Umm you have no idea what you’re talking about

After they were shut down, other teams did not have the same free reign

Regardless of the resources used the way he has a revived that program after it being dead for two years is nothing short of outstanding as I posted earlier

Money talks and bullshite walks.

Venables would come in a heartbeat to coach at Auburn.

No, no he wouldn’t. This has nothing to do with Auburn. He really doesn’t have much of a desire to be a HC.

The way this offense is playing, and considering who is running the offense both, on the field and coaching, I have doubts about Ole Miss.

UGA will probably be a kicking showdown.

If Tua is good to go, they will pull away in the middle of the 3rd.
