You guys should go read all the comments saying McCaleb just needs to put on about 10-20lbs by the start of the season and he'll be a star!

I want to create an account just so I can go all caps and say, "DONT YOU THINK AUBURN TRIED THAT!!!"

Talking out of your arse again. You have no idea the mentality of OMac. Plus he was a gunner on the punt team and made tackles, but I guess that does not count.

Right, did you somehow already forget how much of a pansy he was when it came to taking a hit? Dude got steamrolled by corners and safeties. There's no way he's going to stick his head in there and try to bring down a running back in the NFL.

Cool beans, I don't remember ever seeing him make a tackle after a punt. He was there for one thing and one thing only; get down the field and down the ball after Steven Clark sky rockets it.

I seem to remember an interview he did a few years ago. He was asked what his biggest concern about playing in the SEC and he said "fumbling the ball". I've always thought this was the root to him not taking big hits on the field. If the ball isn't in his hands, he might have a completely different demeanor on the field

If trying it keeps him on the team, more power to him

I sincerely hope he makes the team. He did so much for Auburn in his four years here (which seemed like about 8 years), and helped bring us a National Championship. I just don't think he'll make an impact unless he's a 3rd down back and returner. They should capitalize on that speed he has.

Definitely one of my all-time favorite plays...

I jumped off the couch and was yelling right in front of the TV, jumping up and down. Epic.

I left the game a little early when we didn't convert the drive before that and just happened to be walking by the TVs outside Momma Gs on Magnolia when I heard the stadium go nuts. Stopped on the sidewalk to watch and see what had happened. The blocking on that play is still absolutely textbook.

A mommas love, some nachos, and a pitcher or two are calling my name. I might walk straight there from my last final at noon.

I was there...in the AU faculty section...proudly wearing the wrong colors. That play hurt a little.

The SECRant that day was the most glorious thing I had ever witnessed on this site. In weeks leading up to the game, we had heard about how terrible Cam Newton was, and how he wouldn't run on LSU's defense, and how they'd eventually beat us again... What a great day that was. I wish I could relive it again this year.

That play was awesome. I taunted the shite out of LSU fans while they made their way to the exit. That game was amazing.

Badass play.

I have to say, though, Peterson for LSU was freaking fast. if you noticed he closed quick on OMac from across the field near the end of that run.

My seats are in the corner of the end zone he scored, so that play was coming *right* at me.

I saw Peterson coming and was thinking "BE FAST ONTERIO BE FAST ONTERIO BE FAST ONTERIO!!!" and he was.

Then I yelled so loud and long without taking a breath I almost passed out.
