Latest mock I saw on Bleacher Report had him going #27 to Brooklyn...

At this point, is Tahaad a much better prospect than Shariffe Cooper was?
I always wished Cooper would have stayed at least one more season mostly bc after the lengthy suspension we only got to see maybe 20 games with him on the floor.

For the record, I think TP is a better prospect than Cooper, but small guards probably are not going to be top 10 picks.
I hope we get to see TP play for Auburn this upcoming season.

He’s definitely right on the borderline of being in the range he wants. The thing helping us is that teams rarely like to make guarantees late in the draft. Never know who is going to fall that you really like

ESPN has him slotted at #37. Hope that is the case. Broome’s stock is falling and they have him slotted at #45.

I didn't track who was who, but did the mocked pick position for all the major mock drafts.
30

There were also two others that had him going in the early second round, but didn't put together a second round mock.
The Nets with their four first round picks look to be the main player, and if they're set on taking a guard with either the 26th or 27th pick Walter Clayton Jr. seems to be Tahaad's biggest competition at that spot. Tahaad being a hometown kid may figure into the equation, too. In most drafts it seems that if Clayton is available that the Nets pick him over Tahaad.

I think some GM is gonna look at Jalen Brunson and talk themselves into Walter Clayton in the lottery

Tahaad needs to pull a Tyrese Halliburton and return for one more year

Darrion Williams is a player we really like.

Us and everyone else though right
Would be an interesting fit with the roster we already have in place. Lots of versatility, not a ton size with the bigs though.
