Wow. I really liked Trotter. I think he just got the shite kicked out of him behind a bad line in 2011. When he had some time he was a pretty good QB. He looked great in the Peach Bowl when he came back in after the injury.

War Ram Eagle

I was really hoping the Rams would draft an AU player again this year.

After the Titans and Panthers, they've become one of my favorite teams.

Great deal. Always respected Barrett. His gutsy play in the Chic Fil A game was a great way to go out.

Good deal. I thought Chiz gave him a raw deal, but he handled it like a professional.

That was one of my bowl games in the past 10 years. And the one play in particular on failed sweep I think by McCalebb where Trotter was out in front of him blocking up the field after the hand off was very characteristic of what type of football player and man Barrett is.

First play in this highlight reel

I think he was working as an off-field scout for them prior to this.

He was. He's been with the Rams organization for a few years.

Yep, he got promoted once Shotty was pushed out and they brought in Weinke. Barrett is a good dude and is going to do well coaching.

He got jumpy after the Clemson game took away his confidence. If he had a better line I'd expect Chris Todd or Vetter nunvers from him

He finished his college career on a high note against Va. I sent an email to Chizik stating such.

I really did not expect a response but wanted to express my appreciation for his "stick with it " attitude when he easily could have hung it up.

I will always respect the way he handled the situation he was dealt. I don't know the real story as to what happened regarding him & Chizik.
