My early feelings...

We still don't have a true PG.
Last night I did not see a true 4 on the floor at any point.
Our bigs are going to defend the rim better, but likely won't score much at all...which is fine.

When everyone is healthy and playing...do we have too many bodies?

I think we're better than last year, but not sure how far we can go.

The exhibition against Alabama should be interesting.

Are these teams allowed organized practices before these exhibition games? I would expect some practice time……but they sure act like some of the games at the local Y…..

It doesn’t matter how much you practice you don’t really know what you have until you face live bullets…. FSU had at least one closed scrimmage last week and it showed.

FSU also played a ton of zone… with a first yr head coach who’s only been an nba assistant, no way to really know what they were gonna run.

Not to make excuses (or maybe I am)… last night outside of the end of first half was pretty rough.

That makes their offense easier to pick up too because it's a lot of iso and go one on one. Our flex cut offense takes a lot longer to develop the chemistry and know how to react when you're being defended different ways. I also doubt we've spent more than a session or two working against zone so it makes sense that we would struggle getting clean looks against it

Bukky is baby soft. He cannot play the 5. I do not care if he is 7 feet tall.

He needs to play the 4 because I could dunk on him. He would be better suited to defending the perimeter and altering 3’s than trying to bang in the paint.

It’s not just how skinny he is. It is how he is not intense. Look how Tahaad goes for blocks vs him.

I HATE we’re exhibiting them. If they win, they will rub it down our throats

I opted to skip the game. 95 bucks for a scrimmage game didn’t make sense. Watched it on You Tube. Now that we know he had a short bench, staying home made more sense.

They’ll get better, always do.

Bukky made some decent plays. but can do much better and will absolutely have to. Watched him fail to slide to stop baseline drives a few times.

Ngoy is insanely large. that freshman C for Florida State that had 21 rebounds looks like a child next to Ngoy.

Bama Ole Miss was a one possession game with a minute to go… these exhibitions don’t mean much.
