Auburn Undercover

quote:

Auburn will open its SEC season Sept. 21 with a trip to Texas A&M before returning home Sept. 28 to face Mississippi State. Road trips to Florida, Arkansas and LSU follow before the Tigers end the season with four straight home games in November (Ole Miss, Georgia, Samford and Alabama).

Auburn opens the season Aug. 31 against Oregon in the AdvoCare Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game will mark Auburn's second-to-last, neutral-site non-conference game until at least 2029. Auburn faces North Carolina in Atlanta in 2020, but has since scheduled home-and-home series against Power 5 opponents in 2021 through 2028.

quote:

The 2019 season will include two bye weeks, with open dates Oct. 12 before a trip to Arkansas and Nov. 9 before hosting Georgia.

9-3 seems to be our ceiling next year

No big surprises here.

3 straight on the road followed by 4 straight at home should incite some reactions.

Seems a little more forgiving than our schedule this year.
— Oregon next year won’t be as good as UW was this year
— UGA and Bama at home
— UF on the road doesn’t scare me at this point in time

Not having a single home game all of October is pretty shitty. Flip Arky and Ole Miss and that would look pretty decent.

Yep. Until November 2, we only have one legit home game, MSU. On the flip side, we will be able to have a ton of big recruiting games late in the season if we are at least decent. Get that last game.

according to the folks Au family Stidham is a junior and could possibly be back as QB again next year. if this turns out to be a 8 win season as some our predicting i'd say hes most likely back next year

It’s nice having two cupcakes before SEC play. Maybe Gus will figure out the offense by the time we play A&M.

It's a damn shame we aren't playing Florida every year. '01 & '06 were two of the best games of my life.

Off week before UGA is nice. UGA plays Missouri the week before the game.

Gus is 6-0 in games after BYE week. Not so great in the long bye leading up to Bowl games though.

Moved to Orlando in 08 and been waiting for a game at the swamp ever since. I’m stoked!

I actually think the slate could be set up pretty well for us if we aren’t replacing too many pieces.

If he doesn't improve tremendously he's sure as hell not going in the top 3 rounds of the draft, that's for damn sure.

And? That would give us at least one home game in the month of October.
