Yeah, can't imagine he'll be close to first round pick.

The other plus side is that there are no really dominant teams in the SEC this year. Florida will give us fits with their size, but otherwise we should be able to hang with most everybody else.

Arky has been probably the best so far, and are currently getting spanked by Houston. Bama got spanked by Arizona almost as bad as we did. So we have a decent shot at 10 SEC wins and the tourney despite our shortcomings.

I doubt we go to the tourney. We just need to split against Oats.

Could go either way, but our ratings are good enough we'll only need 19 total wins to get in probably. And our SEC schedule isn't that brutal.

When one sport tanks, the other does well (football).

It’s a miserable time to be an AU sports fan. This team needed two big men and the staff didn’t deliver

Or he’ll want to get away from Pearl and go to another school

Did Walker play at all tonight?

I kind of think Bashir is done.. Maybe he just broke he back or something, but sickness into mysterious injury that won't heal sounds like he's done and transferring later.

This roster epitomizes the danger of relying so heavily on the transfer portal. Not every year is the transfer portal going to supply enough of the right players to meet your immediate needs.

We suck. Didn’t sign the big ‘uns and it is killing us. I am pissed by our current lack of recruiting as well. Wha5 the heck!

Auburn has played against 4 top 10 teams. Purdue is the #1 offense currently. Hope this is a training and learning experience that will bear fruit later in the season.

Not much fun watching the boys get taken to the woodshed and having their manhood removed.

To be fair a lot of teams are losing 20+ to the same teams we are.

Honestly, we aren’t as good as we have been in years past. We are still damn good and can run with most. We are just missing some pieces in the front court.

Me too. I went to ONE freaking ONE HS football game this year. We were either 13 or 14 and 0 in the semi finals. OF COURSE they lose in the last minute to this team they had beat in their jamboree. Then I watched Auburn lose their final game the next day to the inbreds.

Losing I can handle, every team loses. What I dont get is why every single loss is heartbreaking and leaves just enough hope to keep thinking wins are ahead

Correct we are an average team and really gonna struggle with any inside presence. We are terrible on ball defenders and can’t protect the rim.

We can beat some but .500 conference record looks like a good season for this roster.

Not only are we extremely small inside and no depth but we don’t have a point guard. Haad is really a dynamic player but until he gets to where he score 12-15 and create 10 buckets for his teammates he will be a G-Leaguer
