Got the stop. Honestly think the defense has been called too aggressively and they’ve made us pay. I think we need to bring 4 or 5 to get a little pressure and then keep everything in front of us on the back end.

Call the booth and make the adjustments

Been playing a ton of man today and the DBs are biting hard on every little shimmy

Secondary for sure has been playing too aggressive on the backend. Way too much biting.

So yes, they ultimately got the call correct, but we now know we have an official on the field that believes running into the punter when he is running the ball outside of his punting position is a penalty.

This is bullshite. Im getting closer, and closer, to agreeing with Jake Crain's opinion...

DJ can’t handle running everything.
In his defense he’s having to be HC and DC. Still think he should be down the list for HC.

People seem quick to forget that 2010 defense was top 10-15 by analytics.
What? That defense was rated close to teh 100's..

Auburn's 2010 defense was inconsistent, but it improved significantly in the second halves of games, shutting out opponents in the fourth quarter against five teams. While some metrics, like a specific formula that ranked them sixth nationally, suggested they were good, other stats showed their performance was mediocre, ranking eighth in the SEC in rushing yards allowed and 80th in the nation in total defense. Their defense also allowed a higher yards-per-play average (5.29) compared to other strong teams in the conference like Alabama and Oregon.
Fourth-quarter performance: The defense allowed an average of only 3.7 points per game in the fourth quarter and shut out opponents in the final period against Mississippi State, South Carolina, Louisiana-Monroe, Georgia, and Alabama.
Conference and national rankings:
SEC: Ranked eighth in rushing defense and had the third-worst overall defense according to total defense numbers.
National: Ranked 80th in total defense and gave up 5.29 yards per play, which was higher than Alabama and Oregon.
Inconsistent overall performance: Despite the strong fourth-quarter performances, the defense struggled at times, giving up 26 points to Arkansas State and 31 to Georgia.

Oh look Howard dropped another pass.

I would be cool with Preston Howard never seeing the field in an AU uniform ever again.

Why do we never throw that to the RB out of the backfield? He is so open

Deuce has a rocket, but he has no idea where it’s going

We will def need a QB next year, but I hope he stays and develops. He's raw, but the traits are there.
Posted on 11/22/25 at 1:57 pm to jt33
wtf are you doing, Jones? Keep running outside and easy first down
Posted on 11/22/25 at 1:58 pm to jvilletiger25
Looking more comfortable passing now.
Posted on 11/22/25 at 1:58 pm to Jmcc64
Are AU qbs allowed to do that? Look one way come back to other side.
