Yep but he will come back with the typical that he used in football last year that he’s trying to reverse jinx it.

I think he’s really an Auburn fan but just worn out that tired bullshite and has horrible takes.

Are we two or 3 wins from National seed #4?

Are we in top 8 with one more win?

I don’t know enough about how it all works, but the last few weeks have been fun to watch.

I was surprised how well we bounced back after Thursday.

I think we locked up a top 8 yesterday. To remain in the top 3-4 we probably have to finish 2-2.

How does Georgia approach this weekend series now that they've clinched the SEC regular season?

They throw all of their arms and play all of their studs. They will have bye's in the SEC tourney. You don't want your players going well over a week without seeing the field. Baseball is a game of repetition.

Probably like us try to save starter arms with short outings is my guess. So might get to see Bingaman and McCraine throw an inning or so. I could definitely see that on the midweek if we jump all over Jax Stste but they are really good

Georgia needs the series badly because even with the SEC locked up they still have work to do to get that RPI up. Coming out of the weekend they’re at 14.

They’ll be taking it seriously.

So with the 16 team league, the schedule can be a bit unbalanced since we play only 10 teams?

I take it we played most of the 10 better teams and they played most of the bottom 6 or so?

Out of conference, does UGA play GT several times or just twice?

Correct. Case in point, they won nine games against the bottom three teams in the league; LSU, USC and Mizzou. They also had them all at home. In contrast we only got one series against those teams, which was Mizzou at Mizzou to open conference play.

I am not saying UGA isn’t really good, though. They won a lot of road series against some really good SEC teams. They’re one of those teams whose metrics hide how good they really are.

Only once this year. Neutral site at Truist park in Atlanta. Got run ruled.

After that they didn’t play anyone else in non-con in the top fifty in RPI as of now, and most of those are sub 100. They have played 20 Q4 games. Compare that to our 8.

That’s what’s really killing them in the metrics.

I’m surprised they don’t do home/home and Truist.

Don’t we play an extra game against Bama sometimes?

Yes we sometimes have a non-con game against them in Montgomery. Think the last time was 2019 though.

2009-2019 every year.
2022-2026 has been Auburn vs South Alabama in Montgomery. Was schedule for 2021, but cancelled.
