I don't care if they transition the lights. It'll save them money in the long run. What I hate is how they are being used at other places like Georgia and Alabama. The night game at Georgia looked like a fricking rave. No thanks.

Like it or not. In the end, if Alabama does it. Auburn will do it. Transitioning for better lighting is one thing but turning a college football game into a concert is just dumb

Go read what the recruits had to say about them afterward. They loved it.

Isn't this an old man issue?

Resisting change for the sake of we don't do it that way. Like your Uncle or Grand proudly stating he's 'computer illiterate'?

Everyone I have talked to who have seen them at UGA or Bama have thought there were really cool in person. They'll figure out how to make it look better on TV

Pretty sure they only do it when the game isn't in progress. Not sure why you have such strong feelings about activities that go on during downtime

I'm all for it if it helps attract recruits, I just wish they would chill with the blinking on and off during the TV broadcast.

I'm sure there's a learning curve and right now it's sorta of like kid with a new toy. Everyone's still figuring out protocol and best effect. Although blacking out the stadium as Georgia runs on field might prove interesting.

Yes, and I'm a sort of old man. This game is for kids and we get to watch them have fun so fricking let them have fun while they can.

Georgia didn’t come up with it. FAU had them last year. Tons of baseball stadiums have them as well

This is so true.

You can make the stadium flash like a video game but dont change the look of it and dont put any extra stripes on the uniforms.

Make no mistake. We are doing this because Alabama did it

Meanwhile in Tuscaloosa they are about to build a tunnel under the walk of champions to enter the stadium/locker room and upgrading the concourses(again) to be able to serve beer next season.

I really wish we would wear alternate uniforms one home game a year but not on a away game, our away/storm troopers uniforms are imo the best looking uniforms in college football.

They need to do vintage throwback uniforms for Auburn UGA.

Most people outside the SEC don't realize we are big rivals let alone one of the ~5 oldest rivalries in CFB

What's your point? They also managed to put in LED lights last year.

Putting in LED lights isn't stopping us from doing other projects

I agree, why not do it every homecoming game? Don't do it as a gimmick for a big game. A few off the internet.

And maybe wear White once a year at home...
