He played with grit and the Rivaldo drop at midfield and the Var drop in the back of the endzone were huge.

The 2 iNTs tonight were last plays of each half. He also has 2 other interceptions on the season that were we have to throw for a first down or we lose.

Thorne is an average SEC QB if you give him any play makers at WR.

Have no clue what jville sees in QBs but obviously from his pick of QB makes me
Think there is some bias of some sort built in because no one can be that bad evaluating what a good, average, and bad QB looks like and he absolutely misses on every Auburn QB competition completely. He’s either trolling or blinded by some bias

5-16 passing with 2 INTs is playing well in what universe?

Did he put us in position to win against our rival and a top 10 win?

You bragged all year all offseason about the numbers Robby put up against LSU and Bama last year and Bama destroyed us. So do you want to win or a QB that runs around fumbling bumbling but has good rushing stats or do you want a balanced offense that wins games

LSU destroyed us this year. Coincidentally, Ashford had two scoring drives in the only 2 drives he had that game and made it look easy.

Do you want a QB that doesn’t rush or pass well? Because that’s what Throne brings to the table. If Ashford would’ve went 5-16 passing, none of you clowns would be praising him for “playing well.” Throne sucks, plain and simple.

The only thing i have to add is i just saw we completed 5 passes on 16 attempts. That's sad. What's much sadder is that i thought it was one of our better games throwing the ball. That's how low the bar is for the passing game at auburn right now.

7 wins next season is the ceiling with Throne. You might be ok with that. I am not.

If he’s the best QB on the roster next season hell yes I want him to play.

The question is why are you on the Robby train? If he is the QB next season we don’t make a bowl game.

Agreed no one is happy with the offense this year. We had some good running games but in situations when we need to power through on 3 and 2 to pick up a first down we can’t. We need more playmakers everywhere on the offensive side.

RB is the only position group that is legit on offense.

Oline is improved but needs to get better.

Thorne showed grit. He did enough to win. Still has errant throws and no touch in short game. He isn't helped by the drops.

The WRs were again mostly awful.

I'll do that when we don't blunder away games and get run out of our own stadium by NMSU.

No. I believe our shite QB's are also a big part of the issues. Im talking Thorne, TJ, Ashford, etc. Im not talking NIx or Stidham even though I was not a huge fan, he was solid compared to the other misfits

Yep. Thorne gutted it out tonight and thats to be recognized but his passing is still horrible missing wide open guys. Its the 12th game. He should not be missing those passes.

He played hard tonight and gave us his all but he is not the guy we need moving forward

So who are the transfer qb’s to go after?

Vandergriff and Stockton have sat the bench at UGA but were highly recruited.

The Texas kid Malik Murphy with Ewers likely coming back next year.

Not sure. I dont have time to keep up with them. But If we cant get someone solid, we need to play one of the young guys and develop. Stop shopping for a QB every spring

LSU destroyed us because our defense inexplicably laid down from the jump.

I think the staff has already identified a couple possible QBs from the portal. I don’t know who they are. And the coaches can’t reach out to them because that would be tampering. But I’m sure some Auburn fan somewhere might know a family member or high school coach of those players.

I think Thorne can be a very productive QB. Our WRs are terrible. We also need Hunter to be more Hunter. He seemed to disappear at times this season. Almost like he had a nagging hammy injury
