Surprised he lasted this long.

Felt like it has been coming since they released the depth chart.

Attitude issue or lack of performance issue?

Freak athlete and by all accounts he’s a great kid too. Just not sure where he fits into an offense and I’m not sure Auburn was ever a good fit for him

He really wants to be a RB so hopefully he finds a place to do it

That in-state recruiting from 2018 is looking bad right now. Coynis Miller, Asa Martin and Harold Joiner are all gone now.

Good kid and I don’t think it has to do with effort or anything. Just wasn’t going to crack the RB rotation and that’s what he wants to play

He’ll be a Brandon Jacobs that sat third string in college and goes on to win 2 Super Bowls in the NFL.

Thanks.

I chose words poorly and didn't mean to imply that he wasn't a good kid. I was just wondering if it was ability vs effort.

I didn’t think you were And to be fair, that’s probably the biggest reason why kids transfer. I think in this case, Joiner is trying to preserve his dream to be a RB.

I wish Joiner the best. I think he did everything he could at AU as far as trying to earn carries.

Pretty sure Tank became the guy Saturday too. Not surprising that Joiner thinks his role is now gone

I’m pretty sure 6’4”, 230 running back with hands and feet could’ve been useful.

Good luck to him. Maybe he will develop into a great RB somewhere else.

I believe this.

I haven’t been a lot of great athletes, but this kid fits the bill. He’s been doing things the other kids couldn’t do since 7th grade. I loved it when he came to Auburn, but I’ve been discouraged with his use, or lack there of.

Hope the kid does well where ever he ends up. I know he will.

Is there a clear example of a Gus' transfer that went on to do great things?

I wish him the best, but most of these situations are bust.

On another note...recruit a decent OL.

I delete the comment I made.
Who knows?

I guess he was big and athletic, but never got consistent chances.
Limited data set.

I wish him well, but I doubt he becomes Derrick Henry at his next stop.

Maybe he will be better than Bo and Hershel put together.

Good luck to him.

I wouldn’t have used him that way, but more of slot/TE type.

But wennever use a TE, so no point in a TE coming to this heap of garbage.
