We've sucked at football for 12 years?
We have seen some bad times with football but we have had great success with other sports. Our football program has experienced slumps before. The slumps don't last forever

Not like the last 5-year stretch. We were a roller coaster program (they made a skit about it). We would have a bad year but usually bounced back pretty quickly. Doug Barfield had 2 winning seasons and everyone thought that was such an awful stretch.
Last 5 years the coaster came off the track and crashed into the ground.
Hopefully it’s behind us now.

I just want one year where we dont shoot ourselves in the foot and choke the game away. Is that too much to ask or is that Freeze's MO?

Don’t know. As bad as we were the last two years, Freeze was one dumb bama game loss from a winning season in 23 and dumb losses to Okie and Mizzou from a winning season last year.
Maybe the pain will lessen this year.

I've become less and less interested in football the past few years. And I'm not quite sure if it is me getting older or Auburn just sucking. Probably a little of both. Also the Transfers and NIL play some part in that as well.

Was thinking, it’s less than ideal, but when we do start winning, it’s going to be really fun. The gutter years have us thirsty. It will be a fun time.

We have a stacked Qb room, a stacked OL and a stacked WR core. WTF else do we need to put up 40+ points a got damn game????? Defense should be solid as frick in Durkin system. This is year three for Durkin with elite talent at his disposal. Time for him to show the frick up too. 3rd and Durpin isnt going to cut it this year.
And can we buy a fricking Kicker already? We are Auburn for fricks sake.

Rebuilding the football program from the ground up has been a difficult process. I think we will be in a better position to evaluate after this upcoming season.
