He’s made his reputation for those in the NFL unfortunately

Did he? Seems to me he earned that reputation at Auburn. Sammie was my favorite player while here so im not bashing him. But he had a big problem with drops before he was drafted. Kinda like our hero of the Miricle at Jordan Hare. Coates and Louis both dropped the ball better than catching it.

I basically gave Coates a pass at Auburn because he often had the more difficult catches to make. Constantly sprinting down field and having to readjust to the ball is difficult. He didn’t have the luxury of timing routes per se.

He’s been disappointing though. Unfortunately.

Amazing how we won a title with so many disappointing players.

Whey some of those guys were at Auburn and had those same issues, it was always the coaches fault.

5 years later with different systems and different coaches, they still have the same issues. Fun times

Sammie never had great hands, or even good hands really, but he had a lot of injuries to his hands.. I'm sure there is a picture out there if someone wants to look. Its not even that he can't get better at catching. Its that its just really hard to catch when your hands are messed up.

I was obviously talking about his NFL career. What wasn’t disappointing was his career at Auburn. Especially after coming in as 2 to 3 star recruit.

It's the excessive radon in the state. If you want a rabbit hole, just look up Pennsylvania and Radon. Enjoy.
