Ugh, if you don't trust your coach, then fire him. Don't handcuff him

Absolutely.

And now you open the door to public speculation about internal confidence. What a fricking tragedy.

Let Gus prosper or fail based on his choices. To do otherwise is a disservice to him and the program.

Tommy Tubberville for AD because he knows first hand the good ole boy network is the problem at Auburn and he could drain the swamp.

Honestly, a new AD should be on the table before a new HC hire.

I read that earlier and it makes me ashamed to be a an AU fan. This is ridiculous I hope the NCAA gets involved at some point (not really) but something has got to stop this crap.

Why the melodrama? Gus obviously needs someone to hold his hand, otherwise who knows what kind of retarded arse shite he's got brewing. Its for his own good, because he's a paranoid egomaniac who will drown himself otherwise. He got the chance to make all of his own unquestioned hires last offseason (including pushing out Craig to bring in freaking Kodi Burns) and it concluded with some of the dumbest gameplanning and playcalling imaginable. He's not going to be fired outright because the team actually has the pieces to compete next year.

Well said baw

If the PTB weren't overseeing this Ryan Aplin would be qb coach and Malzahn and Herb Hand would be calling plays

We have a ton of talent on offense and should have beaten UGA and Clemson but Gus ended that. We're in for more of the same unless we get a legit OC. The PTB know this

I can't take another season of pettway left pettway right then an obvious pass to our senior wr at the sticks (probably a yArd short)

The PTB are trying to protect Gus from himself.

We'll see who wins the battle. Maybe they can compromise on someone
