I’ve never made any such comment. I wish I had though because some of you thots stay thirsty for my team icon change.

At least I was tolerant. I didn’t attack your casual “live and let be” position at all. That defeats the purpose of message boards IYAM.

Yeah... weeding thru all the negativity/bitching to get to some actual information sucks. I wish this board had an ignore user feature.

Thanks for all your hard work Jones

Do you post anything besides bitching about people not being thrilled about Harsin?

This thread is like a 1/10 from me anyhow compared to last month when I stayed hot

We are predicted to go 5-7 next year. There is at least less sting now.

Tad is good man. Knew him back when he was coaching AISA.

Josh I’ve never met, but I’ve seen interviews as well as him ripping his shirt off at a pep rally, which told me all I needed to know about him.

I'm just over all the bitching and I really wasn't talking to you or anyone in particular it was more of a general statement. Yes this all sucks but what's a realistic alternative?

Back on topic... if the rumors are true and Davis has some personal issues then maybe we dodged a bullet. If not and Harsin is really the problem and nobody wants to work with him (which I don't think is the case) he'll be gone.

Also what coaches from Boise are on the staff now? What have they said about problems working with Harsin?

What information is there to give that hasn’t been given yet?
1. I gave JGT’s information last night and I’ll do it again when more information comes available.
2. Create a thread and ask for the information and then they’ll just corraborate whatever information has already been given.
3. Don’t sign on here anymore. Go back to Aufambly and tell Cole to come over here. He is a better poster than you’ll ever be, princess.

Well one of his Boise boys passed on being OC, but I'm sure that's meaningless right?

They are all good folks. Gotta relate to who you are coaching. But he isn’t a college OC.

If we need an OC go get a legit OC. If Harsin wants to be OC then hire a QB coach. Not sure why every hiring and firing seems like a fricking train wreck for him.

anybody who thinks our football program is heading in the right direction is just being delusional. We are actually digging ourselves in a deeper hole.

From what I’ve been told, that’s exactly the case. I was optimistic when Harsin was hired but the turmoil is too much. This isn’t what building a championship program looks like.

Phillip Marshall confirmed what most of have figured out already… Auburn’s football program is as closed off as it has ever been. They haven’t talked to coaches since the Birmingham bowl and haven’t been able to do interviews with anyone in the program 1 on 1. Reporters are getting second hand information and essentially everyone has lowered their standards (my words, not his) on corroborating facts because everyone involved in the program is being asked not to divulge information or provide context. And he said it’s unlike any other program on campus right now.

All this to say, I don’t truly believe we have an idea of what’s going on behind closed doors and I’m personally skeptical of the context reporters have been trying to put around a lot of the moves happening with players and coaches. But PM said something that was more interesting given the fact that he’s been long used as a mouthpiece for the head coach at Auburn: things are not in a good place.

We’re still early in Harsin’s tenure. I suppose there’s a possibility that these things make sense down the road but it’s tough to follow right now

Is it normal for a new coach to have this much turnover in their first 12 months?

Only if they are trying to save their own asses. Works both ways. Assistants and head coach.

When Auburn wins 6 or less games again in 2022, it’ll be time to move on from Bryan Harsin. It seems like it’ll essentially be less than 6 wins given how the rest of the SEC is progressing while we are in full regress mode.
