His underwater basket weaving class was cancelled this week due to issues with ph and chlorine levels in the pool.

They start lifting in the summer and practicing as soon as school starts in the fall… they’re season ended in April… they’re in auburn virtually the whole year.

I work with one boomer Auburn fanatic that graduated from Auburn. He tells me all kinds of stories just overall fraternizing and working out with athletes like Tucker Fredrickson. He talks about the behind the scenes personalities.

I am wondering what's going to draw the student section to support athletes if they never see them in class and they are already known millyunaire$

From Hoke:

Auburn is set to meet with Williams-Adams and his camp today. I know he and his mother like Auburn, so we’ll see whether he chases top dollar or stays.

At this point, I’m leaning toward Auburn retaining SWA.

I like hearing that. He's not one that an agent will be his primary advisor. Same with Tahaad and his parents so that gives me a little hope with him as well

LMAO if they paid 2 mil for him. Some people are getting fired for that after next season if they did.

Even in professional sports there's a salary cap.

Do we like Simon Walker for next year?

Will he break the starting lineup and contribute or be a reserve piece to give the starters a breather?

I'd guess a good 10 ish minutes a game reserve player depending on how the rest of the roster shakes out. I'd guess he's gets about the same play time as Muschalek this year unless he's on fire from 3 one game.

I don’t see him starting. He has a sweet stroke, best on the team, but he’s got some work to do to play at this level. He is way too slow, cannot create his own shot, can’t handle the ball, and plays horrid defense.

Against certain teams he’ll be useful from outside, but only if we have two slashers in there fighting to the rim to kick it out to him on the perimeter.

He has to do some work in the weight room to get more athletic. I saw him play against Philon in HS and it gave me a false sense of his athleticism not realizing Philon had ridden on a bus 6 hours that day

philon is not a jump out of the gym freak athlete… if he was he’d be going top 10 ahead of all the other guards (acuff, burries, Fleming, wagler).

Walker has to be able to defend at this level… I don’t think he can but guys can mature physically.

If we had that machine from The Fly we could cram Walker and Muschalek in there and it might spit out a pretty solid guard.
