Nothing really noteworthy in that article. Said he feels Freeman, Overton and Jovic are likely to return but those are just his hunches. Said Pettiford and SWA are up in the air but Auburn would try to retain them. Opurum likely done with basketball, Bashir we would like to see him healthy, Magwood prolly gone and Walker didn't really speculate one way or the other

Is Jovic great friends with sway? He seems to always be around him.

He did say they had become close friends and it may potentially help keep him but he still expects his family is going to explore options.

Not from that article but Houston has been tampering with SWA since BP announced his retirement

Portal is currently Open

I want the Jr’s… Philon or Acuff

Surely they can feel the Auburn love having played in the Jungle.

Do we keep Petti or Add by Subtraction? Let him go and use his NIL towards a true PG?

Anyone know what he makes?

I would have put him down as our least likely player to transfer

Same. I was hoping he was going to help with retaining SWA.

Hoke:

quote:

I’m told this is being driven by his agent, who believes Jovic is worth around $2 million. Right now, that number does not align with how Auburn views his market value.

Me:

Apparently a 6'8 whitey that cant shoot the three or dribble without backing down is 2 million dollars worth

Beat me to it

If true and that’s what he’s going to get then the system is completely broken and college sports will be dead in a few years.

2 million for Jovic is so disrespectful that combined with him lying about Joics height I'd never work with that agent again lol. Absolutely insane number for bench player who can't shoot and who is very undersized for the position. I would have laughed in his face.

If anyone pays that for him they are legitimately stupid. He's not worth 1/4 of that.

If he actually is that tall. I’m sure it probably has been mentioned but he was a lot shorter than AU thought when he got off the plane. That’s what happens when you don’t actually go see someone. To me with zero outside shot and too small for an SEC 4 or 5 he is expendable. If he could develop a shot then he could be good.

That's insane. No one is paying 2 mil for a depth piece. He's too small to demand that much playing the 5 and until he shows he has some offensive game outside 5ft he can't play the 4. He may develop but good luck getting even 1/2 of that

This is the part that makes me not care about college sports anymore. I don’t know what kind of money we have to use but telling this kid to pound sand is a no brainer.
