Purifoy takes some god awful shots sometimes.

I am not sure what is going on with him. He just disappears for long stretches of the game. We need for him to step up and put some points on the sheet.

Teams are running him off the 3 point line. Until he can make them pay by effectively getting to the basket and finishing he's going to struggle to get clean looks.

He has stepped up on defense and is one of the few who fights on the boards

He can be better.on O but let's not act like he isn't playing well

Not this game he didn't.

That's why Pearl didn't play him in long stretches in the first and second half.
He only played 26 minutes and wasn't in foul trouble. Bruce played Flanigan more bc he was playing better D on his guy.

Purifoy? You've always had a soft spot for him. He is atrocious on defense. I mean, he is decent on the ball, but is terrible in rotations and often gets lost.

Honestly, it wasn't ever serious. You could tell our guys came out extremely flat. After the big win on Thursday that isn't surprising. We shot the 3 ball horribly even for this team. If we hit at or near our season average the game would have never been close...I don't really remember anyone taking a 3 that wasn't open, i.e. a bad look.

We did a better job of getting the ball into Wiley, but we struggled to finish around the basket for the 2nd straight game.

I'm excited too! No one has gone undefeated since Indiana 76 so the inevitable first loss will sting. To make it to nyd and beyond is great
