Just a couple years ago the basketball threads were so small and intimate, especially this time of the year. Mostly just the same handful of regulars.
Now we need two threads just to contain everybody that jumped on the bandwagon in the last year or two
It really is crazy to think about. I don't think it's even possible for any other coach on this planet to have built up and energized the fanbase the way Pearl has. The man truly is a miracle worker
And the best part is that the type of fans he's building for this program aren't the type to hop back off the bandwagon when things slow down. Pearl is making REAL, lifelong fans out of previously apathetic or football only fans. We all know how passionate and demanding Auburn fans are, so now that most fanbase actually cares and has pride in basketball, he's lit a fire in this fanbase that has set Auburn up for long term success even after Pearl is gone.

We went to the game today and it was a sellout.. like a legitimate sell out too. Pretty crazy to think about
