So in all seriousness your 2 posts... the ucf win over michigan should have gone in this thread and the scheduling of other teams in different seasons in the other thread so you had it arse backwards. But that's how us rebels roll.

I know most of us are used to Auburn being good in BBall now, but I still get shocked when I see our team get highlight clips on stuff like ESPN'S season-long college hoops commercial. It's just so unusual after decades of irrelevance.

Yep. That was the first of three awesome seasons followed by last years Covid/injury ridden/youngest team in the country year.

I think that team could have made a deep run honestly. Doughty and J’von were tough as nails and Doughty was playing good ball at the end of the season. Okoro and Wiley strong on D. And it was one of those seasons that felt wide open. No elite teams.

Yeah, that COVID cancellation year was devastating for us. Just another tourney appearance would've been massive for our program.
Also, I'm looking at the NET rankings and it looks like we might be tops in the country for Q1+Q2 wins at 6? I'm not seeing anyone in the top 50 who have more.

Maybe. It is interesting Lunardi picked us to be automatic qualifier (tournament winner) but only a 3 seed. Doing well seems to already be weighed in
