I know it doesn’t matter at all but I wish he could’ve grabbed the triple double. Would have been another notch in the history book for a guy that may leave as the best rim protector in Auburn history

Solid D. Energy and great play from Kessler.

We need better help from bench.
I consider Greene a starter. Got nothing from the others including Jaylin. Cambridge would have given us a few points too.

Jabari gets a little careless.

Wonder what the record for blocks in a year?

Kessler is going to challenge that.

Kyle Davis played in early 2000’s and blocked the heck out of the ball. I know he 120+ one season

Jabari was pretty up and down tonight. He was always there when we needed him at least.

This is counterintuitive to what I said, but I wish we ran a little more Jabari ISO. He’s averaging right at 12 shots a game, I’d like to get that up to around 14

Very Very physical game. It wasn't going to look pretty. We shot decently against a very good defensive team. Maybe they are a little over rated but still very good defensively. They will give most of the conference hell from a physical stand point. Glad we were able to match it.

Kind if like playing a talented South Carolina team under Frank Martin. Any win is good.

Thanks. Yes. Davis. Watched him play.

Young. Inexperienced. First conference game. Different energy. Considering all that played very well. He will get better and better

So damn impressed. He's a skinnier Rudy Gobert. An absolute game changer and wildcard for teams we play. They can't get to the rim.

he's been a mid 2nd rounder. He's probably bottom of first round early second now. If he plays any where close to like he did through the conference season he's at worst top 15.

According to wiki, record is 126 in a season by Kyle Davis in 02-03. I think Kessler is now at 55 through 13 games. Let’s say we play 37 games this year, he needs 71 through the next 24 games or an average of just around 3 a game to match it

How many obvious LSU traveling "no calls" were there tonight? I counted 4

Yea. The issue earlier in the year is he wasn’t doing anything dynamic offensively. If he can rim protect like he has been, while hitting one or two threes a game and catching a lob or two, he’s a first rounder easily. Maybe not lottery just depending on how it shakes out but top 20 for sure IMO

I’m seeing some progression in that regard and I have to imagine his total
shots continue to go up. He seems to be getting more and more comfortable being the guy

He's also blocking shots and keeping things in play. It took Gobert with the Jazz five years to do this and he's still gives up possessions. Kessler's blocks are probably 4-8 more possessions in a game. That's huge.

Basketball traffic shits on football. This is atrocious. I haven’t moved in 30 min. I’ll get back to Atlanta around 2 am at this rate
