Not sure I understand this take today. They led the team in shots and there were very few forced shots from anyone. Our three guards combined for 17 assists and 3 TO's.
Do you want us to just throw it into Kessler and let him back guys down? That's not who he is.

We played very well today and within our system. Solid defense took very few bad shots and everyone contributed. Jax st hit some crazy shots early and that one dude was on fire to start but to close the half we turned up the defense and controlled the game. It’s time to enjoy this team and either we make it all the way and win it or we don’t. To not appreciate what this team is is crazy in my opinion at this point. Sure we could backside rebound better. Get more designed touches for Kessler. Shoot better from the line but enjoy this shite. Hell 10 years ago we just prayed we would be a bubble team each year. War Eagle

Sometimes I look at our record in this thread title and just can't believe it. Surreal where we are as a program right now. To put in perspective the Porter team we have talked about for 23 years won 29 games yet we are at 28 right now and it almost feels normal.

Sure hope they found J Will a quality Endodontist. Sucks, he was really playing well.

I'd prefer USC. They've looked bad offensively lately. No rhythm. Miami guards are a lot better than theirs.
I don't love either matchup though. USC's length could bother us.

Those two teams are polar opposites. Miami is scary because they’re small and offensively they could get hot but they are impressively bad on defense. USC is really big but struggle on offense. I think I’d prefer to play USC. I think we can run them to death and spread them out on defense.

Stretch got in today? I don't remember seeing him but the stat sheet has him listed for 1 min. I presume it was when BP pulled all the starters. So my question, related to redshirt, can he play in the tourney and not lose his redshirt?

Watching USC/UM and I think we match up better with UM.

Surprised to see USC still packing the paint on defense against this four guard lineup.

I believe RS is based off a percentage of games during the season. Wonder if the tourney gave him an extra game to get in on. Or if Bruce saved one of his games in case we had a situation like today.

USC is just ugly on offense. Bunch of back to the basket plays and big guys driving to the lane.

Miami plays a little bit like us. But they are less talented (probably even at the 1-3 spots but advantage us at the 4 and 5). Might come down to who insists on taking better shots.

I'm okay with either matchup. As bad as USC is offensively, I think I would prefer them, but I'm preparing myself for Miami right now.
I like the fact that we should have a big size advantage against Miami, and our guards can match their guards in speed, intensity, etc. and make things difficult for them. They look a lot like Texas A&M did last week, currently. We are going to have to take care of the ball and not settle for 3's but try to attack them with our size. It will be a situation where if we start turning the ball over and letting them run, or if they get hot shooting we could be in trouble though. According to KenPom they are behind Texas A&M, Miss State, and Florida. They shouldn't provide a challenge we have seen this year.

Did anybody else listen to the game via radio broadcast? Constant emergency weather alerts. Auburn Sports Network lost connection with Burcham and Sonny in Greenesville, so Law had to do play by play by his own television set for at least 10 game minutes in the second half. And then Burcham had to use his own phone to do pbp the rest of the game. Pretty awful. Those emergency alerts can pierce your eardrums if you have AirPods on.
