Easy to say, harder to do. Especially when the opponent really doesn’t want him to have it. Trust me, every coach on our staff would have chosen to get Jabari a shot there if it were that simple.

Yeah him not being great with his handle and off the dribble makes it harder to get him the ball. You have to go catch and shoot and everyone is going to be keying that. You could however use that as a great distraction and maybe show a screen for him to catch and shoot and then slip the screen to the basket.

AA7 I agree.
I would like to see Zep and Jabari get into some screen action especially early in the game when we start slow. Could get Zep
Some run to the basket or some easy 10 footer. Or the kick back to Jabari for the open 3 on the pick and pop. The big comes to take the layup or 10 footer away from Zep bounce pass to Walker. Zep has to start shooting just a little more. And if they go under on the screen take the 3.
It’s time to start adding some wrinkles in the offense they are just sagging on Walker on the pick and roll.

Again, the reason he's going to be a top 2 pick in the draft is because it doesn't matter if you key it. Even when the defense is perfect he can still get a quality look any time he has the ball in his hand.

Jabari struggles a bit shooting if he doesn't have at least a little separation when he lifts off
During games, he has enough shake to always create it with his jab step, ball swipe that draws reach fouls and pump fakes etc.
... end of game catch and shoot though? Doesn't have time + refs swallow whistles unless it is the final four hack jobs

UCONN beat Nova tonight. Not much movement in the metrics game now but should help some. Villanova was 8th UConn was 21.

Also Arkansas beat Florida at UF. Close game Arkansas hit a 3 with 1:20 left to go up 4. Then hit their free throws down the stretch.

Go back to our game at Arky and UF. We missed a couple shots down the stretch that would have been the difference in winning both.
Hopefully we got it figured out
Looking for more Zep

Lets get this dub tonight. 2 more home games left to see this team.

Would be nice to see some great execution on offense.
Still I think the strength of this team can be defense and rebounding. Turnovers are our kryptonite. So clean basketball on offense is key going forward.

Kessler and Smith have been carrying this team the last 10 games.

Pressuring the rim. Not just settling for jump shots.

Just off the top of my head but KD & Wen carried us in the Georgia game.
Also Wen had a huge game against Bama.

You think Green took the criticism to heart and worked his arse off in the gym this week? Looks like it.
Turnovers are still there.
Turnovers are still there.
